Somaliland exists and will exist forever we don't care whether haters like or not the fact is that one day somaliland will be recognized and it will send troops to Somalia to restore peace and law .
Hello Somaliland just found you from Kenya and I am so happy about what I see very peaceful and progressive people will tell everyone I kn;ow and I believe that one day you are going to have your dream fulfilled stay blessed and keep the peace.
Did you leave anything untold, unrevealed or perhaps unnoticed? Your documentary from east to west, north to south meeting people who had a significant impact on Somaliland whole story of peace, taking time with them, joke, dance & talk with them was something feel real! I've never come close any documentary about Somaliland that their story brings you home whenever you're! Thank you MO!
It is the most beautiful document I've ever seen, a friend, you are a national hero, I have been particularly sensitive to the civilian casualties, it is really an emotional quest, and the country has made a lot of progress, I am very happy to be in somalilander so thank you all ,May allah grant us protection and peace
Regardless of the political views we have, there is one thing that we have in common...and that is... Somaliland... We have to admit that we share our country and we need to love no matter what so ever. Thanks!
Manshallah Somaliland ❤️🌴 I love Burco ,borama hargaysa lascanood caynaba. I love how the people run to the minister with leaves and flags they are so patriotic
Omg Amazing what a pride and cultural country, I've no words to say and i love my country I'm local documentary filmmaker and one day i will make a one like this
Thank you so much for this documentation, absolutly fascinating country it's my dream to travel to Somaliland, much more since i saw this documentary ;-) Greetings from Switzerland
Great Job Mohamad, this testament about our people and how resilient there are! I would really appreciate if we Somalilander around the world start projects to support our people in every region without thinking about clans and affiliations. I have many ideas to bring however; I need people who have knowledge and connections. The visit to that school of Hearing impaired, was an eye opening for me, I have not been in my homeland for over 25yrs, but I’m hoping to visit next summer and visit that school and see how I can support them, especially that I work in schools in the West. My two cents, is that we need to teach our young children the history that this country went through, and how to be loyal to our land not to qabil.
Somaliland people clearly showed the world that you dont have to wait for anyone to help you build your country ...we will do this ourselves no matter how small our contribution is ,lets do it guys!viva somaliland
Ma'shallah such a beautiful country and countrymen...This country has a lot of potential, I hope they get International Recognition soon so that they can utilize this potential and the entire world gets to know how good this place is. It was really mesmerizing, I have had stops at the Hergeisa Airport couple of times while travelling to Mog..but I always thought this might just be another dusty town but to my surprise now I see the beauty this country has to offer. Looking forward to visit Somaliland Soon In sha allah...
A beautiful documentary about a great region and it's beautiful people . I suppose any region in Somalia got the same beauty in terms of it's people and landscape but they never call themselves a country and still they faced and still facing much injustices never to compare what happened in Somaliland in 1990s .Somaliland should be focusing the progress they are making in terms of security , education and so on instead separation . When there will be an accountable government in Somalia ..soon insha Allah... Then that's the right time to hold accountable to whoever was responsible for the 1990s atrocities and the possible remedies for those violations and injustices .
Mansha Allah, this is amazing documentary. Once i saw deaf school kids i couldn't stop crying, so emotional. Well done guys I hope will do many more insha allah
Woow great documentary but some parts of the country which had a lot of stories to tell are missing like saylac but ever thing else was amazing thank you for the great experience #wadanetwork
Very good documentary, well edited and presented on some of the many beautiful places of Somaliland. I would just recommend to add the cast of names and titles of producing team. I thank all those who participated especially the Minister, media staff and the visitor gentleman.
First point of correction 1991 it was not an independent day somaliland declared independent in 1960 from the British in 1991 it was separation from rest of Somalia republic. I think somaliland disserved to be separated from the rest of Somalia 🇸🇴. We don't care whether they r isaaq or what. Southern Somalia is the richest part of the 5 Somalis. It's enough let them maintain their own northern side.
Not only you showed us our beautiful country Somaliland but I have gained so much knowledge and would like to say thank you this is the best documentry of Somaliland so far
Thanks minister CADAANI and his team touring in some the places that are most historic and most beautiful places on Earth. I also pray and ask Almighty to grant him Jannah to our last deseased Mr Younis Ali Nour an expert whose vacant he left is still void. This is most inspiring Vidoe I have ever watched,it is natural,it is home made , it true reflects the what SOMALILAND is and how it is people are generous and lively despite their simple life but you sea and THEIR BIGGER HEART!
During its brief existence, the State of Somaliland received international recognition from 35 countries, that included China, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, Israel, Libya, the Soviet Union. The United States Secretary of State Christian Herter sent a congratulatory message, and the United Kingdom signed several bilateral agreements with Somaliland in Hargeisa on June 26, 1960.
Wow damn what a documentary. There is several deep moments in the doc especially 19:17...This Brother reconnecting with his old man and family History. And the old veteran at 13:25 Narrating about the struggle of the cause.THATS DEEP and great message. This shows the soul and parcel of the people of Somaliland may god bless them. On the other side its shows through resilience, perserverance and hardwork. You can turn around things to the positive side despite Challenges. The Somaliland people single handedly choose to go for Peace and turned around events of History without the help of the international community. This model can be studied and the Somali generations can Learn alot. There is alot of wonderfull, educating and touching moments in the Doc. Well captured. 🙏🏽 The Somali people are just Great. More of this kind of content.
Soon or later this country will be among the most historical countries, soon or later we will write our own name to the history books. We came a long way we have done amazing job but we aren’t done it. No matter where you are this world if you from this amazing country u have to be proud of it. Most of people didn’t know most of the cities even myself but I’m glad I end this video with knowledge about my own country knowledge about the people who build this country, the people who left us there own legacy and we have to keep bushing those legacy to make sure the next generations to talk about it.
my beautiful country Somalia p.s i'm actually from the somaliland region before you start hating there are people from the somaliand region that support unity
MASHALLAH, inkastoo aan ahay kala bar Soomaali. Jacayl badan ayaan u leeyahay dalkeyga Somaliland. Maaha in aan been sheego markii aan markii ugu horeysay u tagay Somaliland 2 bilood ma rumaysan karo waayo aragnimada cajiibka ah. Laakiin maalinba maalinta ka dambaysa waxaan bilaabay inaan dhamaysto soomaaligey laakiin waxaan ku dhawahay halkaan. Markii aan arko qoyskeyga anigoo ah hooyadeyna Yallah waan ogaa in aan lahaa qoys weyn. Ku dhawaaq afkayga adeerkiis Ismaaciil iyo Yusuf iyo Abdi iyo sida iska cad hooyaday.MASHALLAH , even though I'm half Somali . I've got so much love for my country Somaliland. Not gonna lie when I first went to Somaliland for 2 months can't believe what such an amazing experience. But day by day I began to perfect my Somali but I'm almost just there. When I saw my family for my mum side Yallah I knew I had a big family . Shout out to my uncle Ismael and Yusuf and Abdi and obviously my amazing mum.
We don't need a Native American Camera mans ba , we need Native Somali talented young camera mans like you walahi this film is like the Hollywood movies man hhhh Amazing Masha Allah
Such a great documentary and for your first time in the country can't beat that trip.. I plan on doing the same but more as a backpacker.. Because I feel we ready for more of them coming to the country shout Hans film I see you lol
The Independent of Somaliland is based on a referendum held in Somaliland with the Majority of the People of Somaliland has opted to regain their Independent
woow emotionally documentary thnkz so much bro Hargeisa to ergivo and ministry of journalism of somaliland good job wlhi beautifull and peaceful country i hope go to ergivo and maydh and xiis
somaliland was a county that was recognized by 32 nations in 1960, but my people made the biggest mistake in our history by uniting with so called somali.I hope these hopeless southern somali are not gonna comment and show their ignorance as usual in this documentary too
Sorry to break it down to you hunny, but their is no such thing as somalialand hahah it is just an illusion, a lie. Somalia is the country and Muqdisho is the capital. Hargeisa is just a city in somalia nothing else. Just because you lot make up a ridiculous flag and slap a name on it, doesnt make u a country. You lot are nothing but selfhated, ignorant people that seriously need the help of god. Somalialand is not recognized by any other country in the world and will never be ahhahaha what a joke
wallahi as a person from somaliand (north Somalia) i do not believe in secession and it wasn't a uniting it was basically creating a country for the somali people not giving a country to one tribe even just because Italy took south and the British took north for their own interest doesn't mean that Somaliland has to be a independent country because the north was colonized by Britain
Such documentaries are what make you happy and proud of your country really I hate politics and politicians I am a normal person who loves his country Somaliland and all other somalis are my brothers. I feel the nationalism really when I moved away from my land finally Allah bless my people and my country.
Mansha allah runtii si qurux badan ayaa loo soo diyaariyey. Gobolka sanaag waa meel qurux badan wuxuun dhulkaasi u bahan yahay runtii ina la maal gashodo dadkuna ay u soo dawasho tagaan dhulkaa quruxda badan
