I'd say a combination of not understanding her and the fact sexuality jokes aren't edgy in Sydney. Along with San Fran, Sydney is a gay capital of the world. she strikes harder where it's still not as normalised.
@@samhughes9631 I think spelling and grammar are gonna be lost skills in a generation or so. Part of me wonders if you're autistic too. I was tempted to use the possessive your rather than the contraction 😂
She must have caught that crowd before they had been to the bar, although I admit that hearing the same material a second time is rarely a knee slapper. Melbourne would have given her a better reception.
Us Scots are very proud of our wee Fern. She is definitely a national treasure. I remember seeing her in the comedy clubs up here years and years ago. Fancied the pants off her then and still do ;)
@@oliviadaly4795 Oh, perhaps, but if you lump the Scots in w the English I have found if there are any Scots listening, you tend to be corrected immediately innit?
I don't think this is a commonly-held sentiment. Have you looked into asexuality? Some people just are not sexual. And then there are people who can't stand the sound of eating, for example, and maybe the sensory input is super disgusting? I'm just trying to give you some leads, not trying to act like I know anything about you.
Just an audience of couples not laughing because they're trying to work out how nuch of the mareial applies to them. Add in the conversation they know they're giong to have later and how their laughing will infuence that and you have good old fashioned 'not as liberal as l thought l was laughter surpression. The truth hurts and Fern takes no prisoners.
Dude, Sydney sucks. This set was fire, and they're sitting there acting like she's telling knock-knock jokes. I bet they went home and complained in their thoughtfully-toned-down Aussie accents how they couldn't understand a word she said.
Are people in English speaking countries really so afraid of being bisexual? I've heard many women say that, that people don't believe you or judge you or something. I always thought it's some extreme rarity thing. Like a perfectly straight woman comes odd to me given how it was even tested in studies that women look at women differently to men looking men, quite similarly to men looking at women. And that it applied to pretty much every woman, to those considering them completely straight too. Always made me think women who assure you they're 100% heterosexual were compensating. And like what do men lose in that? Not the opportunity to see two women go at each other like in the guy's favourite film.
I would feed my boyfriends certain things so it would taste better 😊some were good tasting good because they were so healthy. I enjoyed a man’s package
Wife always said being bye sexy was just pure genius while doing dog style, she would actually have someone else to talk about fashion tips and stuff at the same time
Worthwhile to question why we think two people in a relationship can expect the other to completely fulfill everything each of them needs in their entire lives.
I think you may be conflating and combining bisexuality and polyamory? There's the seperate idea of someone who's into both gals and guys (bisexual), and someone who's happy being non-monogamous (polyamorous). These do come up together a lot, since with throuple-type situations, there's often a mix of genders, and if you care about both of your partners, then odds are you're doing a bisexuality with liking two people of different genders, but. You can absolutely just be a straight guy who's in a relationship with two women, or a gay woman who's in a relationship with a woman who also happens to also be partners with a guy. Anyways, cheers to you and yours, y'all seem great 😄
@@neitherei think this was too fast. The timing kinda comes from the audience. Let them digest the joke before you hand them another one. Her other clips have MUCH better timing and don't feel rushed. Believe it or not, comedy is still a conversation
I am a huge comedy fan This is failure to deliver Saw her live and she was just as bad She really needs better material and learn how to connect with her audience
The DUP are a very conservative, Christian political party who have made their position clear on anyone who isn’t heterosexual. Fern Brady sounds like she is channeling Jerry Sadowitz in this clip. All I heard was anger and shock value, it wasn’t comedy.
Not quite. The DUP are the political wing of the UVF, much like Sinn Fein are the political wing the the IRA. They're basically terrorists with clipboards instead of guns
