I love this type of vlog, it really helps with trip planning! So bummed my husband and I had to cancel our first ever trip there this year (we were going in March/April for cherry blossoms D:) but hopefully planning for next year!
Oh I hope your planning for next year goes well! I'm planning to go back too - just for a Tokyo trip, and do a lot of shopping!!! But only if it's safe of course!

I really enjoyed watching all of the delicious food places you went to (those doughnuts!) and the shops! Gosh, I miss the Disney Store in Shibuya. Cannot wait to go back to Japan and visit some of these places.
just was looking forward to the disney store and nintendo store part, although that retro arcade/ games store was pretty rad might have to check it out whenever my trip can happen since it was originally supposed to happen in October, but due to covid, I will not be selfish.
I love Japanese foods 🍣🍜🍢🥘🍘🍤🍡🍶. My favorites are sushi 🍣 & ramen 🍜 😋 😍. Restaurant places you went made me drool 😄. Disneyland, Hakeijima Sea Paradise, Don Quixote (& a lot more places) are some of the places I love ❤❤❤❤❤ to go.

Thanks so much for opening my eyes to other things that I haven't seen as well as some things I have in Tokyo. Enjoyed the food, shopping and stores. Shibuya Disney store is so cute, last time I was there it poured raining so I didn't get any photos it was an Aladdin theme. Love your vlogs they are so interesting I could listen all day.

Oh I wish we got to the doughnut store more than we did - I miss it so much! I put my stickers on my laptop! I get a bunch from b-side label and whenever I get a new laptop I decorate it with my stash of stickers!
I thought Afuri’s shio and shoyu ramen were not bad (only coz there are better offerings at other shops Ramen shops like Yamaguchi, Housenka etc), that’s just me though. BUT I absolutely love their tantanmen version and as you said, it packs a punch haha.OMG I love Goodtown doughnut especially their creme brulee doughnut, love that they serve cremia haha & the coffee is pretty good.
Goodtown, the absolute best! And yeah I agree, think I'll always get the tantanmen at Afuri now, it was great. I need to get the creme brulee doughnut next time at Goodtown! Thanks for the tip (and oh yeah the coffee is great too!)!!!
I wish you'd do this for every city you visited. It's so helpful to get some recommendations. Mostly the restaurant part because I find it hard to find vegetarian places. Definitely will visit some when traveling is allowed again!

Oh wow, my daughter would go crazy if she saw the Nintendo part of this video! She wants to go to Japan just because of Nintendo... :p She played A LOT of Splatoon 2 last year and she also loves to play Mario and Animal Crossing. She is such a gamer, we seriously don't know where she gets that from because we are both no gamers what so ever! :p Like... the amount of tips and tricks and hacks she has already taught me for Animal crossing just by looking at tons of gamer youtube videos... crazy! My husband asked that if you go to Japan again when it's all allowed again of course, if you could bring us something merch from Nintendo for her. :-) (we'll pay of course ) That Chums store though ... how cute! :)
Aw I love that your daughter loves Nintendo! That's fab!!! My parents were never really into gaming, but brought my bro a NES for one of his birthdays, and the rest is history!!! I have no plans to go back to Japan right now, but if I go back send me a insta DM about the stuff for your daughter ;)
@@thisNatasha My mother used to be a gamer back in the day, when we had our Sega. :) She played every Sonic game there was, she often played all night in the weekend until she got through a level or even the whole game :p So...I guess that's where my daughter gets it from. I just don't have the patience for it haha I can do Animal Crossing and that's about it :p (although I used to also play the Sonic games and I once had a gameboy but they stressed me out after 5 or 10 minutes so I never played much). :) I showed her the Nintendo store part and she was constantly 'wow'ing next to me haha :p Aww thank you that's so sweet! How many suitcases did you buy in Tokyo to fit all the stuff you bought? I always end up coming home with a new one. I definitely need to visit the Nintendo store someday, and also buy some vintage stuff at Super Potato. So next time it will be two new suitcases 💸💸💸
Can you do a summary video of your whole Japan trip and a summary of the route you went. Once international travel is allowed again Japan is first on the list.
