Been a fan since the first color Marvel comic came out. I have read all the books put out by Bantam and most of the Will Murray books. Wrote my own Doc novel back in the 90s. You did a very nice presentation.
Hey, this is Bob from the SAFCOcast Traveller podcast. I found the first Doc novel on my grandfather's bookshelf. I think it was my uncle's. It was my introduction to reading novels and to science fiction. I credit them with making me "a reader". I was 12 at the time.
My mom was an avid reader. She worked in the Loop in Chicago. I'd give her a list of Doc's I wanted. She'd go to the bookstores downtown and buy me some. I still have them.
