Im gixing it rn but the thing is,i have a lot of that burned-looking parts. Is there an easier way do do it cause i dont have copper like can i use foil?

Hey man firstly, thanks a lot! A LOT! I cleaned my board yesterday and suddenly exactly what you showed, the whole column from q to a stopped working. Opened it up, found the exact circuit, cleaned it, and viola! Its working now!! Thanks a lot!!!

Do we have to find continuity in bottom layer only or in top layer also?

Thank you so much! I checked if the trace was damaged and found where it was damaged using my multimeter on 200ohm setting.

Thank you very much , I have a keyboard that had water spilled on it, after some time the third row of keys stopped working, I disassembled it , and saw a trace that had a brown zone on it but thought if it's not completely disconnected it is fine but I didn't even think to check it with a tester. Thanks for the Idea as soon as get home I'll try this

Bro you save my keyboard. Though I didn't have the instrument to check the fault but I somehow managed to locate a black spot in the non-functional circuit line. Then what your method of copper wire and now it's working perfectly. Again thanks a lot.❤

In mine case 1, q, a, z keys some time like 2-4 minutes works after that dont works for 4-5 minutes. After sometime automatically start working What is the reason.

I repaired a logitech k400r following this video. It was affecting several keys 8, U, P A, L Alt (left) Turns out it was the same line for all of those. The problem was discontinuity almost at the end, where it merges with connector. I had to like dig a little (with a needle) because the problem was under the plastic protection, but I managed to get a fine cable and secured it with tape. I then checked the continuity and it was perfect. Thanks so much for this video. It saved me from purchasing another

From 8:00 you can see how to repair it after you find the damaged line/spot. Note there are other ways as well but this should work fine.

Bhailog...mera viswaas karo.... Jiska bhi keys kaam nhi kr rhe the... Aap uss plastic wale ko aache se pocho...kapda bhigoke ...aur phir usko sukhao... Mere case me kaam kr gya... Isliye bol rha hun....
