Fellow Patriots, I was peacefully exercising my First Amendment Right at the Richmond City Hall in Virginia when I had to deal with some of the most disrespectful and unprofessional Security guards I’ve ever dealt with. They definitely wanted to escalate the situation the entire time and had no respect for the People! Let me now what you think in the comment section! The truth is many people get security jobs starting as the guy that sits alone in a car and drives around a parking lot, they tend to want to be away from people, they often have terrible communication skills... The reason why fast food places hire teenagers, besides being able to lay them less, is because many teenagers have way better communication skills are are often friendly enough and are only working fast food because they can't get a different job. People that get fired from McDonald's will later get a job as a security guard. Security guards are often some of the dumbest, incompetent people you will ever meet, sometimes that makes them good at the job because they act like guard dogs, but they should never be allowed to speak to the general public

I just spoke to Jacob at Top Guard and they are fully aware, he said he watched the video multiple times, and they are going to use it for training current and new hires, he sounded genuine and spoke to me with respect.

This video was extremely hard to watch knowing these top flight security guards had not a ounce of intelligence and they are carrying guns. How nasty and disrespectful they were through this whole video. WOW!! I’m glad to know that you reached out to this security company and hopefully they will train their employees how to talk to people. If i was a government employee in the building...i would be absolutely horrofied, embarrassed and ashamed that these people were controlling operations downstairs for lack of a better word. Every person that comes in has to go through them. Thats frightening. They are really the first impression of that whole building. The thing about this situation is that they contract out building security to private companies solely for the purpose of offloading liability. So if there is any wrongdoing, they can just blame the private security guard instead of taking any real responsibility. The truth is that this is the purpose for private security 90% of the time these days (it's simply cheaper to pay the wages of private security than pay higher insurance premiums).

I called the security ofc to advise how disrespectful and unprofessional their employees were during this interaction. The older guard even acted like he wanted to fight Shawn. The person I spoke to said there have been many complaints and that she believed that they are no longer employed with the security company. Sad situation for nothing. Now police can demand I.D. from you whenever they ask you, a sheep doesn't have hands to pull out a wallet, lets just put an I.D. tag on you to simplify the process, you dont mind, you're a sheep of course they need to identify what sheep you are, shear that right away. All the while you are being told that your fluffy coat needs to be sheared to make caring for you easier, but uh oh, now your bald buddy. There is nothing more to shear away, you aren't a sheep anymore, sheep can be sheared. Your a number.

So I called the security company. I said “I would like to speak with someone about the security guards at Richmond City Hall.” The gentleman on the phone told me that “they are aware of the situation and they are addressing it” bla bla bla. I told them that I wanted to know if there was going to be an official statement released to the public regarding the actions of those employees, and he told me that he cannot comment at this time. “. Just glad I took up some of their time and resources.

Just called Top Guard Security, they are immediately aware of the video in which LIA just posted today, and I tried to be as polite and professional as possible with them and the person that answered was at least very cordial and polite. It seems they do have some people that are polite there, can't say much for the people that were at Richmond City Hall.

I called the Mayor's Office, and they directed my "security related" questions and complaints to the supervisor who worked for the security firm...

I'm not a fan of security guards like these: they can definitely be dense and stubborn, but LIA wants to lecture them and persist in poking them to react negatively. He's telling them to calm down, to watch their mouth, asking them to be professional, etc. He's no better than them: but he thinks his camera makes him superior to them so he can talk down to these people.

@@Bean5prout Certainly the guards could have handled it more graciously, but he knows that telling somebody to calm down or watch their mouth and then lecturing people about their reaction to HIS choice to come into the building with a camera and act all holier than thou is really condescending and is designed to potentially trigger increased frustration from already agitated people. They are so used to their false authority that they believe they have. And that big woman lied after she “called” upstairs. I got so mad just watching this interaction.
