not just explaining and educating but you get to see the security guard in complete denial mode trying to come up with a better excuse or example thinking ohhhh i just didnt say it the right way about what happened... noooooo franko you said it fine the first time youre wrong and hes right, i was not expecting that to be a SGT let alone in what less then a min or 2 hes agreeing with sean and saying no your good man, its public building which means hes free to do that... he needs a promotion to the training acadamy like all good cops do... its time we demanding real police reform not the BS liberal defund shit... im talking about a citizen appointed traing system where we vet all the cops that wanna teach and train and if they fail just 1 little thing in our test they cant be in that position... that will breed a whole new culture of cops and their mentality toward citizens... because this is not a localized problem... its cops everywhere in this country view it like US vs THEM and no matter what we say or do we are treated like criminals... that has to be a thing they learn at the academy... its always the supervisor or SGT or Chiefs that know the real shit and laws like that, the newbie cops dont know or care... too many of them to be some weird coincedence.

Sgt. handled that PERFECTLY!!! Kudos to him and I would actually suggest calls to his department to commend him to his supervisors. Just as it's important to highlight the bad officers, it is equally important to highlight the officers who are professional and uphold the law right out of the gate.

First time I seen a sarge that actually not only tells it like it is and let’s them know immediately that it IS LEGAL AND CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTED ACT, but also..putting the employees in their place by saying “yes…he actually can do this because of…..” etc. Great job for once team blue

In Pennsylvania you don't have to give ID outside of a traffic stop, unless your under arrest.

Yep there are only a few states that have a law that you must id, before Arrest, being detained with RAS of a Crime. Most you have to be arrested before requiring id.
@mikeswahn
@mikeswahn Год назад
@TooLegit ToQuit actually not true most states require you to ID if you've been detained for legitimate crime or ras, Pennsylvania laws say only once you been arrested for a crime or your traffic stop when your the driver.

What a Sergeant! It’s so satisfying to see a supervisor understand the situation and recognize what’s legal and not. It genuinely does seem nowadays that police, especially supervisors, fail to understand basic civil rights, and decide that the best course of action is to silence the “abnormal”, or “weirdos” in order for them to maintain their own diluted version of “peace”. It’s just nice to see one of them getting it right.

so refreshing and reassuring to us citizens just like they talked about many ppl want all govt officials etc held accountable... what was amazing to me was not knowing who that 3rd officer was as he came in you almost expect it to just be another basic cop so wow they got 3 cops here for pics and video lol... but nooooo SGT came in and educated and was shocked at the securtity for saying break his phone... what needs to be done imo was after they talked with everyone they need to make those employees come all into the lobby and stand there sure they cant make them apologize but i doubt they would anyway but they need to make them stand there while either sean or the SGT educates them all... its the shame and emarassment that will make them realize their mistakes and hopefully learn from it and teach other employees too instead of telling them how this crazy guy came in and the cops sided with him... that makes the other employees feel like they are "helpless" and the next guy that tries this will have same reaction from them... having it happen together that group shame is powerful and the security guard and employees shouldve been told you need to come here and listen to me the SGT... wether they did is up to them but its kinda hard to be on cops side by calling them like your buddies or at least htinking that beforehand and then having them take the other guys side they shouldnt get to just hide away from that... that needs to be addressed and savored not just for sean but us too, wether we audit or just encounter ppl like this, these videos have taught me so much in how to deescalate situations w police and govt as well as not backing down or giving in to demands like give me ID.
