The best thing I can suggest is you join something like www.academia.edu - you will find hundreds of academic papers about aspects of shamanism, written by shamanonlogists and anthropologists
Are you welcomed by the mongolian circle of shamans? What i mean is it must strange for mongolians to have foriegn practicing their religion. So is there kind of malevoncy coming from other shamans? Mainly mongolians.
I've just seen this comment so I will reply. Yes, I have very good friends who are traditional Mongolian shamans and I am recognised as a shaman by them and hold traditional empowerments and teachings - and no, they dont think it's strange at all.
