A cliche but "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." You're still very young, although wise beyond your years. These life lessons will turn you into the man you're meant to be. You are already seeing that in your new thought process. Hang in there, learn from both the good and bad lessons, and keep moving forward... And remember, most people will let you down in the end... Its a sad but accurate truth of the world.

I've been going through something similar recently. When you said you wanted to sleep and not wake up again that hit home - I know that feeling even with the silent battle - it is true. I haven't yet let myself really go through the emotions because I know how low I can get so I've been holding it in. Today, I finally hit a low and shed a few tears. Keep pursuing your passion everything is temporary. I appreciate you opening up and just know you are not alone.

James, 4 years ago I was in the that same dark place you were. My life changed in an instant that I never saw coming. I felt betrayed, angry, lost, used and worthless. I couldn't see a way forward and frankly, I didn't want a way forward. I wanted to go to sleep and never wake up. But slowly, painfully I emerged from that dark place and now I'm happier than I've ever been. It took time and perspective to see just how unhappy I had been for years without really realising it. How much of myself, my interests and dreams I'd compromised in that old life. Ironically, it was that abrupt life change that opened new doors and allowed me to pursue things that fill me joy. And that closure, that apology, the explanation that you want from your friend - you're likely never going to get it. For the longest time, I was the same. I spent way too much energy ruminating and having would have imaginary conversations and scenarios that would give me closure. But over time, those thoughts also dropped away until one day, I realised it didn't matter anyway. I'd moved on and the future was a much brighter place than what I'd left behind. You're moving on too so well done. Good luck with your new plans 😊.

James, I’m sending you so much love!! I was abandoned and thrown away by some of the most important people in my life - Friends whom I loved like brothers. I wanted to just end it all. There is nothing that hurts more than that betrayal from someone who was supposed to support you and stick with you no matter what. You turned that around and built up this amazing energy - you can do anything and everything you want to and you will be successful! You will look back on this video when you have millions of subscribers and this humble beginning will be the best thing you ever did. I can not wait to see your journey to success! Looking forward to the build of the next rig!! May God bless you and keep you safe on your journey!! Please take care of yourself and go for your dream!!!

Im sorry you suffered so much by people you trusted. Please know that you should be so proud of yourself for climbing out of the depths of hell you endured. Your videos are fantastic. You are very smart & extremely articulate. Good luck with all of your future plans!! You have the gumption to make them ALL COME ALIVE!! 💪 As for "closure" from your ex friend....the closure is his narcissistic mask slipped and you see who he really is. This was a hard & hurtful lesson to learn...but, its best to learn these type of lesson at a young age VS when you are older. When you are young you can get back on your feet quicker to run after your dreams. You have proven to yourself that you can get thru tough painful times even when you dont believe you can. I know many days/weeks/months were extremely hard for you to get thru but, YOU DID!! And, now you know you can survive no matter how many times life knocks you down (and it will). It's the ups & downs that keep you moving thru life & learning valuable lessons. (look up traits of a narcissist see if your ex friend is one and know how to spot one they are everwhere blending into society and literaly want to destroy others & take what they have). You have great motivation. GO GET YOUR DREAMS!! 😊

Thank you for such kind words. I want to make a video about "values and integrity." I certainly had very loose morals until I was about 21ish years old. James, I had an RV, and I worked as a full-time background actor in film & TV. In fact, I found my rig on my way home from working on an episode of "The X-Files". My dream was simple: live full-time in an RV, and travel around from one acting gig to the next; working as much or as little as I wanted. That lasted a while, until I purchased a 1-bedroom condo. This past year I had a small co-starring role in a short film ("Bertie the Brilliant") that was financed largely by Warner Bros. Bertie is currently being broadcast and it was accepted to an Academy Award qualifying film festival (HollyShorts). I play the loveable casino security guard in the picture. I worked quite hard to make my dreams come true. I suppose your channel reminds me on my early adventures in an RV.

James the thing that makes you far better then anyone else on RU-vid is that you're not afraid to show your emotions, You're not afraid to be transparent. I love that you keep sharing your story because talking about it IS your therapy. Fuck everyone who tells you to stop telling YOUR story. Youre an inspiration to someone else who could possibly be in the same position. You may just save a life. But I also think it was fate stepping in and changing your life for the better. Just imagine if the unfortunate circumstances didn't happen. You wouldn't have "met" all of us, You wouldn't be living free and on your own time. I can't see you being someone who could be stuck in an office all day. I think what you have now is awesome and amazing. You've grown so much since your first video and We've all seem the amazing places you've shown us. You've probably inspired other young people to "build their own ambo/house. This channel just came up on my feed. I've watched several videos so far. I'm glad the transmission wasn't the actual problem with the break down, and just the plug was. Anyways, I can some what relate to this video. I started working at a gas station when I was 18. My mom and Aunt worked there also. We all loved it. We went through many employees, but still had us long time ones. Well the owner grew to be an elderly man, but told us we'd always have jobs there. He said his kids would take the store over and they knew we would take care of it. Well the manager and another employee kept saying the owner was going to close the store first of the year. It was a busy store, and I couldn't see why they would. Well fast forward to December 2022, he had a bad fall, and all kinds of health issues. He called a week before Thanksgiving 2022, and told the manager when should he close the store. The manager replies I'm waiting on you to tell me. Needless to say, he said close it up December 3rd. Nothing my me, my mom or aunt could say to him or his kids would keep it open. I felt like my life ended. I worked there for 23 years. My mom and Aunt longer than that. I had another job also for 20 years, part time cleaning service now it's full time. I've had some rough times since all this happened, but it's been almost a year now, and I'm actually doing ok. I guess as they say, nothing in this life is promised. Sorry so long

Betrayal is a hard pill to swallow and airing can be cathartic. I've also been betrayed, so I know how hard it is to compose with the hurt and the outrage and the despair, knowing that they are thriving, completely oblivious to the pain they've caused. I almost wish you would name the person - he deserves to be outed - but you do what's best for you. I've been watching since day one. Your journey has changed courses a couple of times, but I'm discovering that this is actually a part of your journey. James, you're many of us. A survivor, a go-getter, finding your way, making it happen. You are handsome, articulate, motivated, clearly of sound moral fiber, and incredibly endearing. I can't wait to see your journey continue to unfold. I'm here for it.

You learned something about hand shake deals, verbal agreements, and what legal written contracts are. That’s a valuable lessen. A man started a limo business in Chicago he had started with two limos, he built the limo business up to where he was making a million a year. He decided to sell the business and some slick slimy business people wrote up a huge 5,000 page contract of which basically said for $10,000 buys the entire business. He had an atty look at it and he signed it. Thinking the first $10,000 payment would be a down, expecting hundreds of thousands in payments u til 5 million is reached. That man lost it all in that slimy contract. Even contracts can burn you aswell. Read your own contracts don’t just trust an atty seek an atty but you need to read everything. Asset protection.

A place where healing has started but not finished. A place where you have a home and companion. A happy of Adventure. Please don't start over. Don't let your human nature of being stuck make you think starting over is good. Just continue where you are. Don't sell your home. It's a part of your healing process. Find someone with a shop who wants an Ambulance built for them. Let them fund it and you film it for your needs to be filled with the change you are looking for. You have it going on. Life is all about how attentive you are. People suffer only because their attention is focused on the past or imaginations of the future. Even if your focused on something, if you have a percentage of attention on what's holding you down (The past), you subconsciously manifest it and you go into a dark place. All you have to do is make your attention keen, focus on your mission. If you focus on adversity, you will lose BUT if you focus on your mission 100%, You take adversity as a stepping stone. So letting go on what happened to you is not by remembering it, it's just being focused on the mission or in the present moment itself. Even if the thought drifts in your head, you immediately focus on your passion. Myself I just focus on the present moment which works too. Good luck! I'm starting the same adventure as you in a different way, make content and stuff, will make it my 2024 goal!

From first watching your channel, I always thought you'd be great at rig builds and adventure videos. It seemed much more your passion than the cleaning business. As someone who is much closer to retiring than starting out, I always say follow your loves and passions. I really wish I had. It's my biggest regret in life that I wasn't brave and took that step while I was able to. Once you get married, buy a home and have kids, it becomes almost impossible. Good luck to you! I know you will be successful! You have an excellent outlook and work ethic plus you are an all around awesome person!

Hi James. As you have already seen through so many kind comments, there's lot of people out there that have gone through similar situations, me for sure among them. What worked for me, was to "turn the page" for good and not ruminate over and over again about what and what not happened. With your skills, passion, and drive, I have no doubt that you'll be very successful and that situation will become just an asterisk in your story.

Hey James, you are so young and like us that are far ahead of you in years, you learn how shitty people are! Learn to cover yourself whenever you embark on a business venture, always consult with an attorney before you do something like that again. You can have success again, you are smart and resourceful and now less trusting. I hope that you have great success on this next venture and don’t let shitty people jade you, just learn how to be who you are with those that you can really trust and keep at arms length those you don’t know or trust until they prove themselves trustworthy. Wish you could come and help us with our ambo build because we liked the way you did yours. Keep on keeping on and maybe one day we will come across you in our future adventures, God willing!

I love the idea of getting the right people onboard to help support and endorse the lifestyle you love so much, and yes you're very good at it. It's not the knowledge you absorb, It's the knowledge you apply and share. Even with the setbacks, it was only a few years ago you dreamed about where you are now! And the kicker is; not many people can honestly say that! Aristotle once said; "Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work." 💚🏆😎🤙🏼 Thanks for always keeping it real James! We love you man!

I challenge you to consider if your Comment isn't faulting thinking? 1) It sounds like the voices of others (the nagging voice over your shoulder) and not an objective look at just how many ambulances builders there are at Jame's level. 2) As an older adult I can confidently say, you can not let the fact someone is doing the same thing you would like to do prevent you from pursuing your passion! Why then would you pursue anything?

James, So happy for you to keep moving forward. Like you I know how hard it is to let go of the past. Look at the past as "positive" building blocks for the future and yes! That is what I've seen in you. As always in our father above give grace, you are not alone.

Just remember, its no use dwelling about things that happened in the past - it happened, there is no changing it or feeling bad about it now , that will only sour your present and future . You are doing something so many people want to do , but are too scared to do . Keep on keeping on . Watching your videos shows so many people what is possible , and might just help them when they are in a bad space .

I agree. It can be very difficult not to dwell on these things. My experience is there are good days and bad days. One year later and there are still bad days. The reason this video came out a few hours later than normal is because I cut out 4 additional minutes of me talking about this. I realized it didn't contribute to the overall message and it was just me being upset. It's tough not to be vindictive at points. I had to remember what this video was really about. It's about finding your passions and pursuing them.

Ah so this is what you keep referring to as the life changing event... been there. Had friends I had been with for almost 20 years since middle school. One day someone you treat like brothers or sisters can flip around and let their mask slip, then stab you in the back and cast you out. You can do nothing wrong and still lose. You can offer to save someone from a shitty situation halfway across the country, you can drive for hours and leave your family behind to be there for them, and they'll still turn out to be a monster the moment they're secure in their life and they don't need you. On one hand I'm glad I'm out of those toxic relationships, on the other those wounds take a very long time to heal. Now I just work and come home to take over watching the toddler until he falls asleep, and that's it. Count your blessings that you've been able to move all over the countryside and built sick RVs.

Hello James, I have been following you on Tiktok for quite some time. The title of this video made me switch to RU-vid. At first I was disappointed by the title. Is he going to stop? After seeing video, ah, ok, looks like you did learn to grab attention with a good tittle! 😜 Your story did get to me, life can be hard. I used to retire because it is indeed baffling sometimes how people/corporations are. I was fortunate to have proffesional help who gave me a few things to go along with it. It sounds simple, but it is a daily struggle, still for me too: - When something happens, try to learn lessons for the future. You cannot change things that have happened. Don't keep running around looking for the why or what? But put your energy into solving it or avoiding those things in the future. - Don't take everything personally. If you get a question or reaction, you should handle it from a distance. Otherwise, you quickly think this is a personal attack. I wish you much success in this new chapter of your adventure. I think your openness and sincerity how you bring things along make the difference with others who do this. I will keep following you from a small country in Belgium (Europe) 👍, Roberto

I am happy to say that I am not surprised by what I heard in this video. I commented in another video of yours that great experiences were coming your way with the passion and energy you have. You will take that negative experience and turn it into something beautiful. I was thinking that I would hire this guy to build a camper because he has integrity and the problem solving it takes to create a masterpiece. The direction you are going is amazing and it is such a pleasure to watch it.
