This video is the 3rd in our series from Colorado to Moab, Utah. In our last video, we found a pup alone in the desert and as we were working to get her taken care of her, she took off in the middle of the night without a trace.
Shocked because she was so latched on to me, I only thought this pup had gone off the massive cliff next to the ambulance. In this video, we search for her.

Lotsa good people out there. I hope she found someone else that’ll love her like you did. So admirable that you went through the lengths you did to ensure that the worse case scenario wasn’t reality. Either she falls off the cliff or some vicious predator just snatch her real quick. Poor lil baby. I hope this a hard lesson to all pet owner, never let your little precious baby go outside alone to used potty. Especially when it dark outside in the middle of nowhere. There are so many predators' wildlife in Colorado, and it can be super scary when you're alone at night. 😱

people push old cars off cliffs to watch them crash. it costs money for the local (in this case probably federal) government to remove the wrecked cars. it is a remote area and money is limited. the local government will periodically clean up an area. usually if it is a popular area for people to visit or dump trash / cars. often use volunteers to reduce costs.

I know why those cars are still down there, and he is correct for the most part. The other part of that is that those cars are absolutely non accessible. As for the dog, there is a guy that live about 8 miles from there, and that is one of his dogs. I think they occasionally used to run from his house into town.

Even if you had gone outside with her that night, she still might have darted off into the darkness, so don't beat yourself up over this.

James, you are a kind hearted fool. Taking in the dog was nice, but it obviously had a home. Thinking a dog would jump off or go over a cliff os foolish. You put yourselves way looking over cliffs. The dog went back to its home, and you shouldn’t endanger yourself looking for it.

always a pet guardian or parents' worst nightmare. especially in the type of are you were in. i doubt the cliff scenario. dogs are much more balanced than we are. more likely went off overland. you did everything that could have been done. @@ExpeditionRanchTV
