What makes these jumps worse than any other GTA game is that it wants you to be all precise and careful, whereas every other game had them as something to slam at like 100 miles an hour to escape the cops.

I don't think he's never going to criticize himself. Like he'll be slightly happy, but he'll still criticize everything he got even slightly wrong, or sad that he couldn't implement a strategy he was experimenting that would have saved five seconds or something

On jump 33 there’s a hit box very similar to a curb but it shaped like a slope that’s what’s kicking you up on the left side it will always crew you over

you really should try doing the jumps in 1st person for the line up. you can use the hood to line up and the speedometer to hit the ramp at the perfect speed every time

FYI it fails when something other than your wheels hit the ground first. So even if you have good distance if your car nose dives into the ground and hits the bumper first it will fail. This condition sometimes does not apply to the underside of the car however

@21:03, the curb is curved. The left side of the car rotates up first before the right side. You have to jump perfectly in the middle.

@21:11 This jump is very temperamental, hit it a frame to far right and you can flip. Frame too far left and you can flip. But not always, it also depends how much speed you have and what angle your at coming up to the jump. Best bet is to hit it at a moderate speed perfectly centered while coming at it perfectly straight on. This is obviously a LOT easier said than done. Especially on a regular keyboard. Not being able to make small precise adjustments just makes this even more difficult. However with that said knowing how you get along with controllers I’d say just stick with the keyboard lol. You’ll get the hang of it eventually. It took me weeks if not months of practice back in the day before I fully understood some of these jumps.

And once he does this, he needs to do a "don't scratch the paint!" run, where he must do a run where the car can't get a single point of damage, and must be like new when you finish... Blood is okay, but bullets, dents and scratches is an instant fail. "No damage", but with a car this time!

Use your handbrake mid air to steer your car, it can really help you in some situations

I really thought the air control in V let you spin your car slightly left and right as well as control the pitch, like you could in the Midnight Club series, but watching Matt here it doesn’t seem as though that is the case. Am I off my rocker?
