Her version of the song makes me realize this is actually a pretty sad song. The way matty sings it, you forget that it's sad.

Matt even said this song is about guilt and shame - you don’t want them anymore but you don’t want them to be with anyone else. I always remember this because this is something we all experience at least once, and we always think of someone. He said this song was so easy to write because it’s simplistic - but saddening.

Everything about her is beautiful...her voice, her looks, her piano playing, the way you can see her gentleness in the way she holds herself and sings...she's just absolutely beautiful and it's crazy dude

I found this version years ago, and I still find my way back to it. The original doesn’t compare and this video made me learn it on piano because it’s just so beautiful.
