Somen-nagashi and the world's oldest shrine in Miwa, Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture 

I want to eat Miwa Somen, one of the three major Somen in Japan! I decided to go to Miwa in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture...
I went to Miwa, Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. The date of the trip was July 17, 2023.
There is an impressive Otorii (Grand Gate) when you see it up close, and the oldest shrine in the world, Ogami Shrine, which has an atmosphere similar to that of Ise Shrine.
If you have the energy to walk, there is also excellent shaved ice! The God of Gods shrine near the shaved ice shop also has a very nice atmosphere.
This is a sightseeing spot I recommend in summer.
*There is a very cool, air-conditioned rest area for worshippers inside the Ogami-jinja Shrine.
Access to JR Miwa Station from various locations
Approximately 90 minutes from JR Osaka Station (990 yen)
Approximately 30 minutes from JR Nara Station (330 yen)
