For this day, we honor the thirty wrestlers, actors, singers, even a notable cartoon star from one of my favorite Canadian cartoons, all fighting for a chance to insert themselves into the upcoming champions’ rumble. But if there’s one thing I hardly tolerate when it comes to these rumbles it’s ‘cheating’. As with any case for every other rumble, one man wants to be in the finale so badly he’s willing to enter twice in one match. Unfortunately, that maneuver would not pay off for him as we’d see a true champion ‘earn’ his place in the finale… Ryan Reynolds… not Deadpool not Detective Pikachu and definitely not even the Green Lantern… just Ryan. A man who rose to prominence from his early days in soap opera and minor roles before eventually starring in a wide range of films and of course his biggest commercial success came through the Deadpoool movies (Winning several awards). In 2010, Reynolds was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017. As a businessman, he holds an ownership stake in Mint Mobile and is co-owner of the Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. (Which would be documented for an Emmy-Award-winning TV series). And now we can add an applicant of the champions’ rumble to that list and all of Canada wishes him the best of luck. But who was my MVP of this Canada Day rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the twenty-nine men featured in this match, only NINE competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count reached up to an impressive ‘10’ eliminations, which is nine points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander I may not follow basketball and have no clue as to how talented this athlete is, but based on what I’ve seen in this rumble I felt for sure that he was going to win this match. Seeing this man eliminate his competition one after another, it seems as though there was nobody who could stop him and leaving us wondering ‘how’ this guy got snubbed for an award. Although he did not win this match, we hope this is not the last time we will see this athlete. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Jim Carrey It pains me when I say it because Jim Carrey is one of my favorite comedic actors to watch growing up, even though a specific actor called his method ‘overacting’. But as per tradition when it comes to these rumbles, whoever enters first and is eliminated first does not look good on one’s resume. And considering that Jim’s characters have ‘struggled’ to secure a place over the course of this series, this is about the lowest that could possibly happen to this otherwise talented actor (To think he was almost Curly for that one ‘Three Stooges’ movie). For some, it is about fighting for their country while others merely fight to be the best. But for guys like Ryan Reynolds, just to even make it to the champion’s finale is more than enough. But now we ask the following questions: Will we have an explosive Fourth of July rumble to celebrate an American tradition? Will we get to see a ‘Total Drama’ rumble? Perhaps a rumble to celebrate the upcoming Supercon event? And the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
Fun fact that it was Jim Carrey vs Mike Myers 1 vs 2 because originally Dr. Evil was going to be played by Jim Carrey, but he had scheduling conflict, so Mike Myers went on to play Dr Evil.

Well, Wrexham will be happy, at least. Sad that the "wacky season" theme resulted in so many non-wrestlers (4 of the Final 5, and the Final 2), but it's your world, your rules. (Even if the all-Canadian rumble was *my* idea. And where was my shout-out, btw? Ah, well.) I'd say the solution for the baldness issue is to have an All-Bald Rumble (Ivan Koloff, Tomasso Chiampa, Bobbly Lashley, Bam-Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy, Big Show, Kane, 2024 Rock, Stone-Cold, Goldberg, Gillberg, etc, etc), but perhaps that needs to wait for a more nomal season. Wouldn't want to see a Giant Baby win it, or whatever. ETA: Mrs Doubtfire?? But Robin Williams was born in Chicago and raised in Detroit, and Mrs. D. was English, not Canadian. What's up with that?
Congrats to Ryan Reynolds on winning the Rumble. SGA was without a doubt the MVP(10 eliminations). And not just in this Rumble, but in the NBA. He got screwed out of winning it. And SGA has been on my NBA fantasy team for the past 4 years, the only player I have ever drafted 4 years in a row in any sports fantasy league. He is my guy in the NBA.
If Val Venis was pure class, that changed quite a lot over the years. I 100% agree with you about Owen Hart being better than Bret. But Bret was a better storyteller Mrs Doubtfire was Canadian? I have to rewatch this movie

All SGA had to do was stay away from Gretzky and he would’ve won this Rumble. He should’ve continued focusing on Chris Jericho and eliminated him. He had executed his finisher on Jericho and then focused his attention to Gretzky why?
I honestly think Bret is still better only because Owen Hart broke Steve Austin's neck with that inverted piledriver, so based on that, from what I know Bret Hart hasn't hurt someone that badly. So Bret is the better wrestler. VHS 📼 yeah, of course I remember, quality sucks Betamax was better quality to a degree. Speed was a cheesy good movie, it was fun. You should watch The Lake House, it has Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock reunite. Its a cheesy love story but its fun. You could have had Donald Sutherland as he passed away recently and hes Canadian in this Rumble, and you also left out Alex Trebek, even Elon Musk holds a Canadian citizenship.
