Smackdown vs Raw 2011 is my favorite of the series purely for the weapon mechanics. Being able to lean tables and ladders anywhere, them remaining after being broken, and being able to use directional moves like a basic suplex through a table out of nowhere are top notch

The match between Edge and Randy was long, but is was amazing! It deserved to be long! Do people not understand that Edge had a devastating injury that caused him to have to end his career sooner than he wanted to?This man returned from a 9YEAR ABSENCE, and Edge deserved to have a match that long! The match had soooooo much heart, storytelling & emotion within it, and it reminded me why I became a fan of wrestling. Not only did it remind me why I became a wrestling fan, it also allowed me to "escape" and to not think about the problems that are going on in the world rn.

Easily Smackdown Vs RAW 2006 and SVR 2007, SVR 2011 were my personal favorite Smackdown VS RAW games

I definitely like the SVR series better than the 2K series. The overall experience Felt smooth on the controls and better with the graphics. They gave you more options as well as more nitty-gritty if that makes sense. Nowadays, the violence is tone down and although it looks more realistic, it feels like you’re playing a match that happens on TV more than it is an actual fight/wrestling match. That’s just my opinion.

2011 was the best. Being a kid and hearing "did you forget about your OTHER opponent? RING THAT BELL" was such a hype moment. Because you know you had to put everything into that match if you wanted to unlock them. (I say everything because I always did the hardest difficulty because it took skill)

SvR series is so much better than 2K series, I hate that they don't care anymore of doing great video games

Mania 36 was a freaking banger. It was way better than what I thought it would be considering the current circumstances.

SVR 2006 had the best roster and best modes. Even the GM mode was better because you didn't need to hire specific writters to specific storylines. Climax of WWE games and climax of the Ruthless Aggression Era!

honestly while i do like some of the 2k games and don't mind the simulation style i do miss these games they were fun and had boundless create options, i'd love story creator to be intergrated with universe.

Svr06 was the best hands down. There is no debate. 07 was good but the gameplay wasn't on par with 06. But 07 definitely had a fire roster. Especially with all those legends. The original smackdown vs raw was fire but ultimately felt like hctp lite.

My least favorite is SVR 2010, but not for the reasons you might think. My games save file kept getting corrupted for unknown reasons. I had to constantly restart with a new save file. I stopped playing the game after the 3rd time it happened. I can't play a game that does that. That is literally game breaking. It NEVER happened to me with any other game, in my 10 years that I owned my original PS3, only SVR 2010 did this. Huge disappointment, because the game was really fun. Overall though, I wasn't a huge fan of the SVR series, they stripped those games of what I loved about the Smackdown games, and that is the ability to go backstage. And I mean transition from area to area, not the crap backstage brawls that they put in. I had fun with the ones I played, but that disappointment was always there. It carried over into the 2K games as well, until 2K17 finally brought backstage transitions back. They still had to strip something even then, cause you can't do multi man matches backstage. I can go back and play No Mercy on the N64, and have 4 guys backstage, and 2K is telling me they can't make this happen?

I loved the old damage indicator, you could really decimate an opponent. Used to play elimination chamber and royal rumble the most. Also I disagree on the stick grapple system, it made it easier to have a comprehensive skillmove set.
