Wow! First, what a gift so see a reading today! Especially since I just wrote a comment to you on my channel how much I was looking forward to what was coming in. And shortly after, this reading posted! I’m so elated with all the details you shared. The shower and connection to water. All the details leading up to the message. These are the behind the scenes people feel the need to edit out. But for me, it’s all apart of the message. The song contained a layer to this message. Which was confirmed when I looked behind the scenes of this song: Songwriter-guitarist Wayne Carson had about two verses done with the working title "You Were Always on My Mind". He had been occupied in Memphis on a project that required him to stay ten days longer, and he phoned his wife in Springfield, MO, to apologize for the delay. She was angry, and he replied: "Well, I know I’ve been gone a lot, but I’ve been thinking about you all the time." This idea struck him as potential song material, and he *quickly ended* (death card twice) the call so he could capture it on paper. This was the spark for the song. Conflict in union. The distraction we face when we are creating to the exclusion of those we love. He brought the song back to the recording studio and worked on it for a few days, but it did not gel. Carson asked for help from his colleague Johnny Christopher and they composed more of it. But they felt stuck, they appealed for assistance from songwriter Mark James who was walking through the studio. James was exhausted from non-stop music projects, but he ran through the song with Carson and Christopher. By the fourth run-through, the song was finished. It’s a 3 of pentacles and 3 of cups moment for this song! Collaboration used to flow the stuck energy. Which I saw related to your statement “stall your manifestations.” I can feel when this energy is stuck. Just like Carson experienced. And like him, I’m open to receiving assistance, such as this reading. The draining of light connected to that last reading that we riffed on. And I do love our riffing, just like these song composers did for “always on my mind.” And another off track thing here, the working title included “You Were” implying it’s in the past. But what emerged from the collaboration was a title that was free of time. The song itself still contains the past tense. But its title is outside time. Free of it. Initially it was believed Elvis Presley's marital troubles were the inspiration of the song, but Carson responded that the song was not written for Presley but for every man. He said that it "was one long apology. It’s sort of like all guys who screw up and would love nothing better than to pick up the phone and call their wives and say, 'Listen, honey, I could have done better, but I want you to know that you were always on my mind.' And that “every man” really resonated with me. Because initially I saw one face emerge through the reading. But as you spoke more faces appeared. All male. All romantic. It’s like a collective masculine apology is being conveyed through the reading. I wonder what those songs could have been had they been created with the muse rather than apart from her. All the hers (feminine energy) used as muses. So beautifully articulated in the creation of this song and apology. I did close a particular door. It’s the door conveyed in this song. It’s a door that says, “I do understand you’ve been busy working. I get that you see me as a muse to your music. And I love that I inspire you. But I am more than that. I am your partner. So you need to come home and collaborate WITH me. Not just use me to get that song to Elvis who is using that song in the same way😂” And this does absolutely connect to that drained light collective reading that we riffed on when I shared that I knew no one could take my light from me. I am here to inspire creativity. But it’s that form of rejection I feel when other aspects of me are denied. And that my light is being used to keep this perspective in play as conveyed by this song. In other words, thank you for the apology. I know it’s heart felt. I do know you are sorry. But I want more than an apology. I want change. And that only comes from awareness of why he’s apologizing and a willingness to shift that why. I am not interested in sitting at home waiting for a call while he’s creating with others at a studio for a song that Elvis sings because it resonates with Elvis who is at his recording studio 6 of cupsing his marriage on the verge of divorce with Percilla. Yes, by all means, write me a love song. But write it WITH me not for me with other men who are thinking about their wives rather than being with them. And the only way this is even possible is for me to stop answering the phone when he calls. And he just needs to come home. And if that means he needs to finish his work, then that is just where he’s at.
