Wow. This reminds me of the first time I heard Whitney Houston’s version of “I will always love you.” I love this song. It’s like hearing it sang the way it was intended for the first time.
The one silver lining to this pandemic, is that it's brought out some of the most personal music from artists like Melissa...from their homes, thank you for sharing your music
Moved me to tears touched my heart hauntingly beautiful the sound of just her breath into the Mic .I have an abondous amount of pure love and respect for Melissa Etherige💖💖💖
Just as comfortable as singing a nursery rhyme...ME can tackle any song, do it justice, and always add that tiny pinch of heartache to it that makes everyone listening stroll down the path of pain that we all know how to navigate and still find our way back to today...Thankyou ME.
She amazing story teller, thats why she can do adeles song, someone like you, i love adele version But also, love Melissa Etheridge she awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have always loved this song, but for real it means waaaaaaay more being sung by someone who's lived a little bit more... melissa just put a lifetime of relationships & hurts & happinesses into this song... Beautiful job girl!! 🎶
Reminds me of "Watching You" Melissa's first album me and big Geri were at a Tower Records and when we saw that album cover we were jumbing up and down shouting she's a sister, she's a sister!
I can actually see, in my heart 💜 and in my mind’s eye, Melissa saying/singing this to a leaving Love 💕. This internal vision I have when she is singing is exactly what made me fall in love with 😍 her in the first place. Thank you, Hester. This was awesome.
Everytime I hear Ms Melissa perform this it truly is so emotional I feel this so deeply??Ty Melissa for playing and singing this song so beutifully❤🌹🍀🌈❤❤❤
I don't care for Adele, her voice or her songs, but other than my Divine Masculine's shamanic singing, this is the moat powerful, deeply moving thing I have ever heard.
Love it❣️ Shows someone with a kinda deeper voice can sing higher pitch songs. And it kinda seems to change the emotion somehow in someway🤔 not really shore how or if maybe it's just me could be. But either way it's awesome 🔥🔥💯
I can't speck for anyone else but I think when hearing Whitney Houston which I seen s/o comment about. When she sings I'll always love you vs Dolly Parton I feel as I do with this song. My emotions seem to be different idk if it's maybe like when Whitney Houston sings it vs Dolly my emotions are just stronger or maybe something else. Which Whitney Houston puts more emotion into it. So that might be a bad example. But like Adele song rolling in deep there's a little girl that's been all over Facebook, that sings it & I honestly didn't care 4 the song till I heard her sing it. Adele sings amazing so it's not a type of bias towards her or so much as any singer. Sorry it just fascinates me how we as humans will like the same things (music,clothes,etc..) like this song but maybe like it sang by different ppl or ways. Or both like an outfit but 1 say it's ugly then see it on someone else & say oh I really like that, while the other person's like u just said it was ugly. Which I hate to say or admit is s/t funny at frist cause so many ppl's reactions. When a friend might say s/t like there trying to "call them out" or s/t. Most ppl believe it or not don't think deep enough to see it's nothing to do with the friend. They'll just naively believe something negative about that friend. Instead of it's just our taste which makes us different. Which is s/t we should respect each other for anyways sorry didn't mean to get off subject especially sounding like I'm trying to teach you listen here 🤭 Fr fr my apologies! 💯
