This week we go metal detecting at a house built along an old stagecoach route. The house itself is not crazy old, built around 1910 or so, but the road goes back hundreds of years and was an original route that helped get from Philadelphia to the Atlantic. We were anticipating finding Victorian era and early 1900's coins and artifacts, but the first find of the day was so cool it took our breath away!
