Mine was honestly the most boring party ever like I never realised you could ask villagers to dance I rushed mine because I had to get in the car and didn’t realised I did until I already started 🥲
omg that retail story… I used to work at a super popular local coffee shop and these two older women barged in somehow before we were even open without masks on, we told them we’re not open and asked them to wear masks inside the building, and this grown woman walks behind our counter to steal a coffee filter and hold it against her face, demanding “strong decaf coffee.” “I really need strong decaf coffee!!” GTFO! LOL it was so weird, how do you make decaf coffee strong? you want drip? decaf espresso? neither are strong! We’ve also had people enter the employee entrance before we opened. And plenty of screaming, physical and verbal threatening, and old guys calling us sheep AND n*zis. For COFFEE. The mental scarring I have from working at that place during 2020… the only thing still holding me together were my amazing coworkers. I vouch, people are SO stupid and you have to learn how to deal with adults who act like children. At least I can make a latte… 🤷🏻♀️ is that worth it? lol.
“Customers are a little dumb” a little??? I had a guy try to smoke in our diner when smoking had been banned in restaurants for about 10 years at that point.
So I don't know if you've noticed, but if you pick "I've got ideas", that means you can do whatever you want with the place, whether or not it fits the theme. (Hence them asking you to name it). If you pick the first option, they'll give you a theme title and a few required items.
retail is so wild. i’ve been working for 7 months now, 4.5 months in a food service store, and dude people are INSANE- we had people regularly cuss our managers and us out because we didn’t do things exactly the way they wanted things to be done in the exact time frame they wanted- a lady wanted extra of an item and i already gave her more than i was supposed to (and im hard of hearing so naturally she came after that) and she almost got kicked out of the store because of how she was treating us-
When Rizzo's jail popped up on the ending party I laughed way harder than I should have that was the best XD (BTW Just the little previews of all your designs holy heck they look amazing ;o;) This vid was great keep it up!! :D
If you push down the right toggle while scrolling thru your inventory it'll categorize everything & let you scroll by category instead of by each item. It makes going thru your items a shitton easier!!

the story i can relate to so much cuz i used to do the same thing. The town i worked in had a covid mandate so we had a store capacity and I had to count the people as they came in and keep track on a tablet and if we reached capacity i had to begin a queue to get in. I also had to remind people to wear their masks and social distance and welcome them in. This one lady and her mom came up to the store and were walking in and i said “Welcome to *store*! Do you ladies have masks with you today?” ans she goes “are they required?” snd i said “yes ma’am the town is currently under a government mandate” and she groans and pulls them out of her bag and begins to put them on when she said “my mom runs out of breath easily can she not wear one” and i go “i’m sorry ma’am but all customers are required to wear masks while in the store, we do allow face shields if she has one to wear in the store.” and she goes “well she doesn’t, this is ridiculous you’re not going to let my mom go maskless when she could pass out in the middle of the floor and then i have to drag her limp body out and call the ambulance?” and my manager was nearby and she goes “Ma’am, my employee here is just enforcing the rules as she is told to, we expect everyone to wear a mask, if your mom has a medical condition preventing her from wearing a mask i will gladly discuss that with you but if she does not, she is required to wear a mask” and she huffed and her mom put on the mask and they went inside and my manager was like “you did the right thing there keep it up”

I do the oposite inside and no outside till later lol Dobie's house and the apparel shop were lovely, also as someone who HAS worked retail and fast food yeah customers can be stupid, and rude. And also, as a fellow stupid customer in some cases I am at least nice and respectful when I have to interrupt what someone is doing to get help etc. Cause I've been there...
My mom owns a small store so she set the capacity to like 3 customers (the whole store is just the size of a living room) we have had someone leave a bad review saying that my mom was being rude and so forth when their child came to our door and my mom asked if she needed to buy something (cuz even in the start of the pandemic a lot of people wanted to just boredom browse which isn’t going to work if ur store can only social distance 3 ppl) the girl said no and that she was just wasting time. Her mom left us a review that we did not let her (the mom) in to buy a gift for their dead grandmother. Like wtf. What is the point of this? All you need to say was that you were actually looking for a gift and you would have been let inside. Otherwise, why can’t people just respect others and their rules? Why make up lies. Since then Iv seen other lies made by people that were just butt hurt that they can’t have their loud phone conversation inside a tiny store while others are trying to shop (just no common courtesy). Oh and people always like to throw around the “dead pet/family member” into their bad reviews when they make up lies. It’s just kinda interesting when you saw what really happened and then you see what rude customers want others to think happened.
I don’t know if I’ve seen anyone else talking about this, but for the restaurant if you talk to whomever you have as the chef you can get cooking recipes through them!
I used to have Rizzo on my old island.He was a DRAMA MAKER. Once I wanted Cherry on my island so I was trying to kick him out but then he had a argument with Tipper and TIPPER wanted to leave a day later,so I put fencing around his house and never talked to him again until I restarted my island bc of all the problematic villains on my island tryna get up in my face and kick the best ones out 😑 but fr I love your content it's so funny and amazing :D

One good thing about Grocery retail 2020-2021 is, I didn't hear this in awhile ➡ "Awe sweetie, you know you'd look so much prettier if you smiled more. Frowning causes wrinkles." Also, less instances of customers arguing with the door employees about how checking their receipt is encroaching on their god given freedoms. Guess they were too busy complaining about social distancing and masks.
I worked at Subway and honestly the customers were fine most of the time but the freaking employees I was working with were the absolute worse! They would leave me so much dirty dishes then end their shift like 2 hours early and then the manager would scold me for not having time to finish my stuff because I had so many dishes to do. Fast food jobs aren't the best either ;--;
two of my worst pandemic retail customers were a woman who asked me to zip her dress for her and a woman who silently snuck up behind me and whispered “it’s raining” directly into my ear

Recently, like a day before New Years, a customer tried to cut the line where I work. And my coworker asked him if he was in line, and he instantly blew up saying "this is bullshit! I'm tired of this shit! I'm just going to come in tomorrow!" We were closed on New Years so I hope he enjoyed waiting in the parking lot. But on his way out, my coworker said "have a happy New Year!" And he said "oh fuck off!" On his way out. The good this is is that if my manager heard him say that then he would have been trespassed (we work for a Union and our managers take no shit from customers), but it was all just out of no where.
