Lads, I told you, you can get some very nasty jealous people, and cars are a funny thing, to men they can be very covetous over cars. That to other people does not seem normal. It’s a bit like with pets. Don’t let horrible covetous people take away your peace. You have handled it well, up to now and tried to let it go over your head as much as you could . But, honestly don’t let other peoples problems become yours. Once you let go of either of those cars you will regret it. Because the price will shoot up, and if you take them to a show you would get an offer you couldn’t refuse. If that car was worth fighting for it’s worth hanging onto. Don’t let sour people sour your joy with any of your cars. You can’t change people, they are still going to be jealous and covetous, that’s their problem not yours. Honestly 10k would be a nice lift, but there is more financial gratification in the long run . Don’t let them just sit there - but let them stand there nicely polished and proud . You take your time, because Ecclesiastes says “In His time he makes all things beautiful ,” and I know that you can both turn them into a thing of beauty !

Don’t let the RS go, you’re going to regret it afterwards. Just push it back for some time, then get back to it when you again see it the gem it is. If after a year you still feel like selling it then sell it. Nothing to loose.

I am an Essex boy by birth and my dad never owned anything but Ford so I like to see an RS, so shame to see RS2000 go. I also like the LSE, had a few LR products but would love a RR classic or a Defender. Keep up the good work gents.

Don't rush that decision to move the RS2000 on. You're understandably frustrated right now, but take yourself back to when you first got it. Come back to it in a few months when you love it again. Don't regret letting it go.

Someone tried to do this to one of my motorbikes last year. it hadn't been out of my garage for over a year & was covered by blankets. Dvla wrote me a letter saying had I sold the vehicle as someone waa trying to register it. I phoned them up & said "NO" In the end they made me take photos of the frame ,engine numbers, number plate & the bike. In the end they said they would cancel the application. I said would anyone get in trouble for trying it on. They said it may have been a mistake. Very dodgy.

There's some strange people out there. I bought a BMW last October which had Full Main Dealer History, which BMW confirmed when I called them prior to purchase. The previous owner agreed to BMW releasing copies of the invoice to me at the time of sale, but when I took the car to BMW once I had the V5 in my name to request the copy invoices, BMW called the seller to confirm he was happy for the invoices to be released and he refused point blank. - The BMW dealership took good care of me though and gave me full invoices just with the previous owners details redacted to circumvent GDPR.

I purchased an e93 2012. Not a shred of paperwork, 2 keys and the bookpack. Phoned BMW, They emailed the whole lot, free of charge. .

I don’t know if you have seen any comments of me before but to put you in the picture I have incurable terminal cancer and being in that situation make you look at life in general a bit differently you appreciate the small things in life a whole lot more and equally get down when people act dishonestly like the guy who registered your escort in his name he obviously watches the channel and must have a chip on his shoulder to do that to you and Chris maybe he dosnt like to see people doing well for themselves through honest hard graft so decided to try and get one over you which he failed spectacularly, I hope the police throw the book at him for his small minded pettiness but glad you got it sorted but sometimes I despair at how petty and horrible some people can be just because he’s got a chip on his shoulder about something unimportant what a moby, keep up the great work lads I always look forward to watching them especially when I am bed ridden which has been a lot recently it brightens my day up watching you two doing such a fantastic job on everything you put your hands too 👍

The RS2000 brought back some good memories and some very bad ones for me! Leased from new, our J reg had a much nicer steering wheel than yours. Ours was full leather with a large central airbag. Yours looks to have a plastic steering wheel. Is that original? Maybe ours was an optional extra factory or dealer upgrade? But the car was stolen for a full wheel job - all road wheels including the spare and our lovely steering wheel! Plus all our personal belongings were gone. The car was recovered the next day and rectified, brought back into service and ran its full 3 year leasing contract without missing a beat over very high mileage. But what I remember most was the driving experience, superb and unforgettable. A very balanced car particularly compared to what it replaced - our previous car was a Vauxhall Astra GTE 2.0 16v. The Astra was fantastic and possibly faster, but the steering had too little feel and the roadholding was no match for the Ford. Even though with the Ford we had to live with the poorly designed rear hatch - the guttering arrangements mean that if the hatch is wet, all the water falls in the boot when you open it. Doh !

Reference the ECU on the Bentley.Sometimes people remove the fuse for the OBD to stop communication to diagnostics to hide problems.Definitely need the help of a competent Auto Electrician

Rob Chris please listen to yourselves one owner RS2000 I can understand your frustration but get it done/Finnish sit on it for a few months and review how you feel,worst case is it’s gonna go up in value,don’t sell it because of the grief it’s caused your over the worst of it. Rob/Chris. Every time I know there is a new upload, my Mrs says at around 10pm “ you sit and watch your RU-vid guys and I’ll go and read the paper in bed” ! It may only be 20mins or so, but it’s 20 mins of two genuine gents doing what they do best, it’s fantastic. Sadly there is always one rotten apple in the cart! Great attitude to life guys and a real inspiration to others. Thank you 🙏

Guys, I'm so gutted for you - why is it always the good guys who end up in the crap when its nothing you guys have done, I love what you guys do & always look forward to Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 5pm....... You guys owe us nothing though, we all know you guys have so many projects on the go & there is always a good reason why you have not taken forward a project, and usually those reasons make the next video so much better. Keep up the stunning work guys, can't wait for the next video - Gotta say its my favourite RU-vid channel!!

Rob, just let the RS sit for a while. You will get over the anger and then you will have an appreciating vehicle for your collection. Its not the cars fault, it is the jerk it was held by in a first life. Think of it as saving it from an unhappy life. Keep it and be happy. P🇳🇿

I totally agree with this comment. Sit on it Rob and keep it and enjoy it. They are so jealous that’s why they resorted to fraud to try and take it off you. It’s done now Rob the car is yours and it’s now registered properly. Give the finger to the fraudster and the original owner.

Some people not right in the head don't they really understand that a logbook doesn't mean you're the owner of the vehicle means you're responsible for the vehicles tax have any fines you get so glad you sorted It out 👊
