Somers Fire Department Engine 188, Ambulance 80B2, Car 2441, Rescue 20, and Engine 186, along with Northern Westchester Paramedics 45-Medic-3 responding to a rollover motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 100 in the Town of Somers, New York. Car 8013 and Ambulance 80B1 from the Somers Fire Department, and 45-Medic-2 from the Northern Westchester Paramedics also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video.
Originally, Somers FD and EMS, along with 45-Medic-2 were dispatched. While units were responding, 60-Control (dispatch) advised that an additional call was received, reporting possible entrapment. 45-Medic-2 arrived on scene and reported that the party that had been trapped was able to self-extricate. He soon after requested a second medic to the scene and 45-Medic-3 was assigned. Ambulance 80B1 transported one patient ALS with 45-Medic-2 on board and Ambulance 80B2 transported a second patient ALS with 45-Medic-3 on board. Both ambulances transported to Westchester Medical Center. Fire units remained on scene until the vehicles were removed and the road was reopened.
