i think the actual name for minge bags was someone who didnt put a username in for the game back then and simply got the name minge bag. there was some that would join servers to spam. they disappeared when garrys mods started using your steam user name as your garrys mod username.

@@MrUnknown-hp1rk Mingebags are actually players, the addon secretly puts you into a lobby with other players and those other people appear as mingebags. You also appear as a mingebag to them.

@@atub7055 Played a lot of classic gmod and they weren't exactly a myth, although the tpose pelvis phys was a glitch with the animation not playing properly it was often associated with them since they always found a new way to break servers and ruin players time any way possible and that was the most common glitch used by them, the name "mingebag" was given to players when they didn't set they're name in the settings (yea that's the old way of making your user since it didnt sync with steam itself since before 13 is was a mod, not the standalone game of today) i Remember during classic they're (these are what i usually called them) were Neutral minges, they were basically the wild cards sometimes they'll be nice and then a bit later they'll cause chaos or not, Guardian minges, these guys mainly stuck with servers to try and guard them and make sure chaos minges weren't able to wreck the server and most of the time they'll do very light and most of the time funny exploits, and chaos minges, the name speaks for it itself but they mainly tried to crash servers or sometimes would try to make the server download a trojan to inject into other players (The way gmod used to install addons was very, and i mean very insecure) this could range from being annoying like causing gmod to not work such as the gman virus or send players to shock sites, or if they didnt think that was enough they (although rarely, only happened to me once) could destroy alot in your pc such as backdooring your pc or if you were really unlucky, lock you out of your pc entirely, causing for a new drive or entire the rig to be fixed, but yea i do remember playing with a group of old friends and seeing the sync fail here and there

this addon however tracks another players movement from another server and shows it as a mingebag on another server

@@shagrat6686 yes. really. the mode is semi-multiplayer. for example the mingebags you see are players in your same map, and they see you as a mingebag in your same map aswell

I think the radio room stalker is a reference to the infamous Ratman easter egg from Gmod 13 Hotels.

Fun fact: once you find all globes and the trash can and skull, Taking the item dropped to the cone, You will forever get healed by the cone if nearby it, if your health is below 100, it can't revive you tho, AND, Putting anything except for the minge ritual in front of the darkroom entrance, 5-10 seconds after, you'll hear a scream and the prop you spawned will be flung, One time, A shadow kleiner appeared right in front of the dark room entrance and I found out once i heard the scream, I was really scared.

if you put the doll in a chair in the secret room it turns into vents

another fun fact: if you know construct building and construct 13 you’d know they are both connected, the ARC are both in the map, the construct building is the aftermath of construct 13 as there is a big glass panel blocking off the entrance for another pool inside the pond, and every path to the cave ways are blocked. Basically saying that the arc have completely blocked off anomalous activity.

@@Krisztian08 This just happened to me while i was playing with a friend, a mingebag spawned out of nowhere, i tried getting close to it but i kept getting damaged somehow, then he disappeared, 5 mins later There are 3 of them and then out of nowhere the chat just keeps getting spammed with cough, i instantly quit after that.

@@franzyr the cough with them being in a group happened to me as well. Also, when you get close to them you get damaged and knocked back, so make sure you keep distance from them so they don't noclip into you and kill you.

How do you get the detector?

@@grozniac You need to stop the citizen who comes out of the dark room from reaching the top of the building near the lake. You'll know when you've done it when she starts to run towards the spawn area and she'll turn into the detector. Then as I said duplicate it and save it in your dupes.

@@codename.ken-z After You've stopped the citizen and she turns into the detector then it always spawns when you enter the map.

Yeah, I figured. What scares me is how mingebags can spawn in other maps as well as gm_construct 13 beta, as I was playing on gm_ratte_b1 (without the addon installed) and a mingebag killed me. How did they code that in!!??

@@bravecal9465 hmm let me explain.. if you don't want to see the mingebags, uninstall gm consturct 13 beta, that map makes black figures, mingebags and semper appear.

Ok, thanks for the advice. Gotta say, the Devs of the map really outdid themselves here. The gmod modding community makes some pretty insane stuff on the source engine.

theyre human players. the mingebag addon quite literally connects you to other players sometimes, but through something that the creator calls the mingenet

iirc the curse tier has a higher chance of being a level higher when you've completed most/all the secrets in the level below

They are actually real players, its like a dimensional shift where you are in the same game as someone else and they see you as the mingebag.

@@mylo5641 ye, it connects you to another player on that map randomly, you look like a minge to them, and they look like a minge to you

can’t stop laughing at people saying minge

They are 100% real players, but the reason why they pause when you pause the game in singleplayer is because the game doesn't register them as players nor NPCs, just a Kleiner model controlled by a player on a bad-latency server. The developer even left a note in the code talking about Mingenet, and how it's his fun little project to soft-connect players with each other as kind of a social experiment. In that case, he did it really damn well.

They are actually able to spawn in any map but that is only if another player is playing on the map with the mod

Because they are player controlled Let me explain, in another server someone is also playing which means sometimes they will appear as a minge bag to you And you will appear as a minge bag to them that’s why it’s so random because you control them

But that’s all I know right now

Mingebags are other players.

The other mingebag is a player seeing you as a mingebag, though I believe some mingebags are actually NPCS

I assumed they all wanted to bang my mom and had to protect my dignity! 😂

I was wrong, mingebag aren’t other players, they are NPCS that somehow mimic the movement of players in different servers.
