How do you record your songs? The sound is fabulous!

Thanks! Glad you think so. I just use a single large diaphragm condenser mic (just off screen) going through a Focusrite preamp with a smidge of compression straight into the tape machine you see spinning. Then run that into my pc, add a touch of reverb and then limit to a decent volume!

@@georgeboomsmamusic I would slow it down a bit and leave more empty space in the vocals to get a more dreamy feel. This is about a guy tuning out from the world for a moment ("the dreams are rolling down across the places in my mind"…) Also use more low notes in the vocals. Your guitar play is superb.

guitar work is good but vocal lacks authentic feeling. You have a good voice but your heart is not in it. This is my opinion, I love this song and play it all the time. It's special. It can make people cry from the sadness of the person singing about how their free spirited young life has changed and the sweet times they have shared are likely over. I don't feel sadness in your performance. Again, just my opinion and my thoughts. You did a nice job.
