Hi teej. I think you should buy a 348. Its the model just before the 355 with an almost identical engine (and sound). Its just as fun to drive, comes with the gated manual too, and in my opinion is a bit prettier with the testarossa style slats in the door. I used to ba a jdm boy all the way but since starting a job at a ferrari specialist in the uk, and being around euro cars a lot more i have officaly been turned. Ps. love the vids

I have a 348gts, I’ve repainted it white and redid the interior. Its not fast. It has a bit of a kick, but the flat v8 with a capristo exhaust, oh my god… it gives me such joy to drive

My parents neighbor is a big Ferrari guy. Used to have a 430 scud, traded it for an early 488 allocation when they first came out. He bought two 348s in auction in like 2017. They were the model before the 355s, still had a gated manual. He had a convertible and a coupe that he got for under 40 each. He wanted to bring all three of his cars to our local cars and coffee so he asked my dad and I to drive the 348s. I was a senior in high school, and it was still one of the coolest experiences I’ve had rolling in a crew of three Ferraris.

Get it, it sounds amazing, that’s how I feel about my E46 M3, boring in traffic, but in the canyons, it wakes up after 4k rpms all the way up to 8k!

another sick car ive fell in love with after finding is the bmw 850i v12 90s car with popups and its just amazing sounded when modded. although unsure if these are in the US

This is a brilliant spec and the wheels are 🔥….coupe is way prettier and better, but don’t overlook the GTS or spyder. The top off with a tubi exhaust is truly the best noise I’ve ever heard a car make. Had the opportunity to drive two of them, loved them both. Not “fast”, but epic driving experience

The thing about 90's cars is they were the last era of cars to get marketing for how good they drove compared to what tech or safety features they had. Those just used to be bonuses. Also silver is a great color because you see all the body lines, looks cleaner longer, and almost anything goes with the color
