I'd like to think both Norwich & Coventry will be in the playoff picture this season despite slow starts. Norwich just that bit more organised yesterday 👏 good review
Really happy with the direction the club is going in. There seems like a plan. Substitutions are proactive and the players we’ve brought in seem genuinely enthused to be here.
Yesterday shows JHT isn’t afraid to pull anyone off if they’re having a bad game as shown yesterday with Forson and Crnac. Them two substitutions at half time yesterday completely changed the game. David Wagner wouldn’t make any substitutions until the 75th minute even if we were losing. We might have got ourselves a great young manager. COYY. OTBC
My take: Plan to recruit young players with potential to be Premier standard & develop them such that when promoted they can survive rather than try & survive with Championship standard players and a couple of additions which has failed repeatedly
Schwartau reminds me a lot of Tzolis, but thabkfully, this time we seem to be nurturing the player and giving him the opportunities rather than mismanaging and demoralising him
From the day we signed Thorup, i have been optimistic. His reputation as a coach, and the way he wants football to be played, is a perfect match for us. Didn't know his english is as good as it is, but thats just a bonus😅
I agree with all your points, Jack, re optimism for the season to which I would add the re-engagement of support. I was very encouraged to feel the lively 11:13 buzz at Carrow Road for the Sheffield United match last week. From the Radio Norfolk coverage I could hear Norwich fans were in excellent voice and post-match comments alluded to their enjoyment of entertaining football and a fantastic away win. The journey home must have been a happy one!
Great win and needed 3pts. Felt Forson and Crnac were our weakest links in first half. Slimane and Schwartau performed well, fitted well into the team. Stacey was brilliant, if we can get Chrisene performing on the same level then happy days. #OTBC
Singing doo di dee didi dum didi dooo Running past defenders he scores a goal or two He looks good (looks good) Looks fine (looks fine) Joshy Sargents on my mind and he’s city number nine
Good all round team performance, very pleased with our loan signing from Sheffield utd,to bring in 8 new players is what our club needed, the improvement started against Blackburn then Sheffield utd second half we looked good,,I said from day 1 jht is a breath of fresh air and the transfer window we have done well to bring in players all around 20 years old,,good feeling we are building something good,in our Danish boss I trust that he will get our club where we all want to be,happy days ahead o t b c 💛💚🇩🇰🏴👍
You know when you feel everything is right and gonna be ok! I think that’s where are at! JHT just strikes me as man that’s got “it”, and that we are in very safe hands! Looking forward to seeing what these lads can do under him as each week passes! The futures bright, the futures YELLOW! 😂 OTBC
I thought Norwich was spot on with tactics the way how they passed the ball and got forward a we created chances we tackled and it’s because the trencher market we was spot on
Good to get the win , first half was even with the best chances falling to Coventry , the 2nd i thought we controlled which was so unlike Norwich(of the last 2 seasons). Finished the game off relatively comfortably , again unlike Norwich! We have some skillful players which has cheered me up after the departure of Sara. Not getting carried away , but i have some optimism.
Agree with much of this, jack. But don't think Coventry will be in the mix this season. Certainly on form this season so far. They've been disappointing
