This map pack had everything: it was hilarious, it was kinda spooky, it had good ideas, some trolls and probably more I can't think of right now! I liked the Slenderman section where you had to get the 8 pages. But the best thing obviously was the anticlimactic end. Just hilarious 😂

Technically the bricks in Mario 1 apparently have cursed toads (or mushroom retainers I guess) inside them, so in reality these are evil toads that have probably gone mad from being stuck inside bricks for 35+ years and are out for revenge.

Notably, _all_ the breakable bricks, coins, powerups, and Bloopers in the first game are denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom cursed by Bowser, and only Peach's white magic can restore them. And Mario had no way of knowing this when first entering the scene - has Peach been holding off casting the restoration spell because she wouldn't be able to deal with seeing the carnage that was laid out in the first war between Mario and Bowser? Possibly.

Well... not technicaly. Like the other poster said, all blocks and the rest are citizens of the mushroom kingdom. If you read the instruction booklet of Super Mario Bros. it says it.

I don't know if you ever noticed but the coins that will ruin your loife had a different color compared to the normal ones, a bit more red-ish color. Like the little Him easter egg on 1-3 I believe and I wonder if it wouldn't been more fitting with Hotel Mario No instead of the other one. I also wonder how easy it could be to mod Mari0.

That NO! Sound effect that plays whenever you try to enter a pipe as well as the Stoopid! Sound effect on 2-3 are two of heavy's voice lines in Team Fortress 2. It's a good game, you might like it!

Strange how it changes gameplay when characters are made scarier with no change in the mechanics. At least for me. In that other hack where chainchops were replaced by some birds for example it felt more easier.

7:59 - Slenderman, why do you have a brick on your head lmao XD XD XD you know, this makes sense cause the official manual for SMB Does state that Bowser turned all the mushroom kingdom inhabitants/civilians into stone and bricks causing Mario to kill every single Toad in the entire kingdom unknowingly! So I guess you can say this is one Toad that's trying to get his revenge on Mario for killing off his friends/family. that's just a theory though...A GAME THEORY! XD XD what a skin pack though lol a lot I was laughing a bunch through this :) I needed this man..I don't think anything out ranks the Cursed Goomba series though lol.

The music that's playing at 9.25, that is the song from the "Piracy is no party" Mario Party DS fake anti-piracy screen that started the trend of making fake anti-piracy screens. Which is fitting, because the fake crash right before that level was it's own fake anti-piracy screen, as can be told from the text to speech lines

There is actually a sonic 3 A.I.R. mod called mephiles' hunt that does adds mephilis as a permanent enemy that does something pretty similar to what this does for most of the game exept it's on,y the chasing, but the S3 level design makes that feature without the other featuresmore interest

Iirc the original Super Mario bros manual said that Bowser had turned the Mushroom people into bricks. It kinda makes sense that if Mario is killing the Mushroom people by breaking bricks that they would want revenge.
