It happen every year too here in our terrace on the 2nd floor. I'm not sure why they do a stopover on that particular month of the year. Besides the mess that the bat/bats left behind it managed to drop some guava seeds in one of the potted plants I have and I am happy coz so far I've eaten a fruit out of it..One was eaten by the Maya, our constant neighbor who is also nesting in our roof but the best of all I am grateful for the leaves of the plant because it can cure a mild toothache and others ailments❤
Agree , have a CCTV on the porch. But maybe the owner should check the crawling space at the ceiling of that porch , there might be a snake or rat or bat living on the crawl space of the ceiling porch

Same in our house bat came every night. Nothing to worry that is normal. During night time there are birds or bats picking fruits from the trees and brought to open space like our balcony they ate the fruits in the area leaving the peels. We find it cute and cleaning it everyday is our daily exercise nakakawala ng katamaran. 1 Reply

Yes it's from the bats at night...maraming mga ganyan sa bahay namin noon lalo na yung may mga puno kami ng mansanitas(bisaya na pangalan). NO, its really not a ghost.

First time I saw it, it’s a bats is my first thought. It’s normal in Philippines. Bats eats our fruit of aratilis every night. They spread out the seeds everywhere. There is no mystery or something happened. Bats is very helpful to our nature

No wonder the cat keeps looking up and cautiously passing by. Cat has been giving you signs all along. Please be careful because bats have rabies. Find out how to get rid of the bat and make sure to always close the doors and windows because when you are sleeping it could bite you.

With the dried berries on the floor it's obvious that those are from fruit bats. In our carport a fruit bat is hanging upside down when night falls on the electric wire and always leave a trace of his food in the morning.
