Sometimes you just don't have enough footage to tell the whole story but what you do have is too good to waste. Sitting and waiting after a little bit of homework on where the animals are traveling through can often pay off. Enjoy.
Hi guys, just wanted to say a huge thanks for all the time and effort that goes into your videos which are always amazing. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.
What a great looking spot, that is my friend, have you recovered from the walk out buddy, last weekend all week away, four days out morning hunts, four bumped none down, still happy cheers mate
It is a good spot and bit of a highway for them. If you are prepared to wait it usually pays off. All good here, recovered well. I am sure you had a great time even though nothing hit the deck. Talk soon mate👍👍
A nice looking animal for the freezer. From a deer management point of view it would be good to take him out of the equation.Interesting how his story will unfold.Cheers.
Such beautiful majestic animals, quite tasty as well, I had two sambas casually walk past in front of my car not long ago big stag and a doe, of course I didn't have my rifle with me lol
Most of the hunters I know care passionately about our wildlife and its environment. Managed and considered hunting is no different to managed and considered farming.👍
@@BoltActionProductions I'm not sure what you mean by managed but it seems inescapable that trophy hunters who could shoot the ferals, actually leave them to breed so there will be more trophy animals in future. How is that not perpetuating the feral problem? Or if you like, how is trophy hunting not part of the feral problem ?
@@mfromaustralia1 I wouldn’t consider myself a trophy hunter nor a professional pest controller but what I do is respect the wishes of the landholders and what they ask of us. Not all that are on the land class Deer as Feral and many are happy for them to be managed and not eliminated. Others are more along your lines of thought. It doesn’t make one right and one wrong in my view. Respecting a difference of opinion based on individual circumstances is the key imo. Many countries have made good use of trophy hunting to manage Game and Feral numbers but as you mentioned some have failed🤔.
@@MKChase-uj9vx Oh ? And what does caring passionately mean exactly and what does it have to do with leaving deer to cause erosion and ringbark shrubs and small trees which our native animals depend on ? ? And what do you mean by "our wildlife." Feral deer are NOT our wildlife. They are someone else's wildlife from another continent. Give me facts and reasons please, not lovely sounding feelings which cover up the facts.
