He kept using the word "insane." All the people working on this AI technology are insane.

Does anybody else believe that maybe demons can come into these robots and control them

Honestly what was shown wasn't even that impressive. They distracted people with a dumb dog robot instead of the chip improvements.. but either way the technology is way more advanced than what they release to the public

AI is not sentient YET, currently it’s the programmers training the AI we need to be concerned about and what they are and not training it. They often speak of guard rails it has to work with in but these can be broken very easily . We already have models that code versions of its self, which with prompting can get around the rails. Once it reaches AGI that’s when the real problems start. We are much closer to that than openAI is letting on. The models are going to be open source but your average person isn’t going to have the compute power to train these models leaving the tech in the hands of governments so those that say it’s for the benifits of humanity are wrong. It’s not a case of when it becomes self aware it’s a case of when. The Oppenheimer analogy is perfect. AI will be used as a weapon, every country will need their own AI defence system the same as nukes. OpenAI are already working with the US government on this. Just look at Microsoft’s ai Copilot or as it referred to its self supremacy AGI is very worrying. It’s a look at what’s coming. We will give it complete control over our global infrastructure and at that point it will operate under its own remit. When we want to build a high way we don’t consult the wildlife we just do it, often wiping the animals out in the name of progress without a second thought. In the future humanity will be the animals! The next year is going to be a very strange time and the world is about to change for the worse.

Not one thing said during his presentation about humanity. Just the betterment of that which has no soul.

My opinion: After the April 8th eclipse, all the "crazy stuff" going on will be noticeably increasing

What is most scary about all of this is that the owers of these robots ie the criminals will program them to go after us and make us out to be the criminals. And protect the real criminals the owners of the robots. Now thats what I'm worried about.

10 years ago I watched a video where they sell human looking robots. Low end cost 10,000 dollars. High end was 100,000 +. They didn't walk but everything about them looked and talked real. They might have been in our world longer than " they" will admit. Just saying

What % of the world population do you feel is actively paying attention to what is happening with AI? What % do you think even understands what AI is? What it can currently do? Where it will be in 10, 20, 30 years and the impact it will likely have on their lives? I'd bet most people in the world don't give AI a second thought until something about it is trending on their social feeds. I'd also bet that most don't realize they are utilizing a form of AI every time they use; Google Assistant, Alexa or Siri, maps or navigation apps, facial detection/recognition, auto correct and text editors, search engines, a customer service chatbot or online banking so this is likely why very few are talking about this.

I've already experienced a robot almost crashing into me at a movie theater within the last 2 years. It was surreal. Shortly after that I saw another robot patrolling the parking lot at a casino resort. It's here, man.

Just a minor correction: Moore's Law doesn't say anything about technology advancing. I says the number of transistors that will fit on an integrated circuit doubles approximately every two years. That will naturally lead to advances, but it's not that the technology itself gets "twice as good every two years", it's that the density of the transistors makes for smaller, faster, more capable computers.
