I think she would have looked better with how she wanted it with the baby hairs. I think you should just do what she wants. You do such a good job, though.
There’s a holy GOD in Heaven, Who created you and I for His glory, but our sins have separated us from Him. the wages of sin is DEATH, but the FREE Gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST the LORD. in love, CHRIST died for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. repent, stop living in sin, and believe in the Gospel.
I’m older and have settled for a low maintenance fade, some mascara and lip gloss. However, I must give your client her props. She didn’t hide her face during the whole process. The closer you got towards the end, the more her face lit up. I see her confidence. Your skills are unbelievable. She’s owning the style and you couldn’t ask for more than that.
The style is very beautiful. I just think it wasn't the right one for her. You must give the client what they want even if you disagree. You're FANTASTIC🌹🌹🌹🌹❤
While this style may not have been the best for her, I am soooo over mature women in these blonde or gray twa's...There are so many styles out here to choose from...why limit yourself to that.
I love how far we’ve come with wigs! Lace front is a godsend! And the toupees for men have gotten so much better too! Really boosts people’s confidence
Hello. She does. Lol. She always chooses hairstyles that she sees the younger clients get so mostly that what we disagree on. But she is adamant on what she wants so I do it but water it down alittle 🤦🏾♀️
@@TheHairGuruCarla lol. keeping her in her “mature “ version of the hairstyle is best for her. glad you are there to keep her from going “too far “ in the young ppl’s category. You do get “too old” to rock distasteful stuff, we give the excuse for the younger ppl since they haven’t bn around long. Stay safe and blessed beautiful ppl.
I have a young spirit too, but I can't deal with too much hair that I know is really not mine. I have to have it more realistic or I start feeling uncomfortable. I am glad this lady can handle her style choice. For me, no farther than shoulder length.
She's a nice looking older lady for her age but I think once you get to be one or two years old the baby hair is no longer a baby hair grow old gracefully
I love the hairstyle. It is giving what is supposed to be gave. You made it look like it’s growing out of her scalp. Another amazing job 😍 Her eyebrows are on point.
Thank you I hate when people always saying that hair style too young for her or this land that. It’s all in what you like and what makes you happy. She want baby hairs because she can’t do baby hair with her own hair she she had hair loss. Let her embrace these wigs so she can get baby hairs if she want them. The nerve of people. Lord
Just to correct you on that part, age is a significant number applied across the board; however, when one reaches adulthood the decisions are now theirs to make.
The baby hairs these days are made from the wig or weave and not from the real hair most of the time anyway. Her baby hair was age appropriated. Go girl!! Because I'm of her age and I wl truly rock that hair style. People put labels on everything 🙄 if you like it wear it. Age ain't nothing but a number. Baby!!!
Very pretty hair style on & of itself but for her age it’s a little “young-ish”. At least you toned down the artificial baby hair. With that being said she has the right to get the style she wants.
Very cute, a ponytail is timeless not restricted by any age factors. I would rock that, and I’m not young, either. Great choice of style, light baby hair and the way it’s executed by you, great job👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
You are so talented , a magician ! Your clients are super brave to share this with us ! I love this content , Thank them for me! Also… miss thang is super pretty ! One question … do any of your clients get custom hair pieces made ? If so , is there a massive difference ?
I will never understand what the obsession is with this baby hair thing, you wasn’t born with it or else you wouldn’t need it, but Carla you did your thing as always, I suffer from scalp psoriasis and most of my hair is around the sides and back, one from losing hair and the rest from having part of it shaved for brain surgery but gurl I’m willing to come from Virginia to see you just let me know and all I want is a short Bob or something on that line with a honey blonde color lol
Yes Carla.. sometimes a client has to be directed… more baby hair & the lashes … 👀 you did a good job! You better be at at LEAST 100k subscribers because your talent is crazy!
I recognize this client bc she's a regular and I always remembered how happy she looked in an older video when you had her baby hairs laid and she caught herself in the mirror, so I knew that was her favorite part, having the baby hair right. She looks cute, you did a wonderful job. I can tell she can be a stubborn client lol but you treat her with love and patience
I'm sorry but "baby hairs" are for children. Having edges laid is one thing but curly cues and all that is a bit juvenile. We wore them like that in the 90s when we were kids. I'm not sure why grown people like that...smdh
@@xxarianahiltonxx5116 How aren’t they “letting people live”? They gave their opinion that it is juvenile (and it is). They aren’t NOT letting you live and you CANNOT police their opinion. Also, shouldn’t there be a question mark rather than a full stop after “Who cares”? You should be more worried about your grammar 🙄😒
Okay soooooo she pretty got what she asked for in this case but to me it didn’t fit her at all. You did an amazing job based on what she asked for but I was just watching in awe like “ okay so this is what she wanted “..👌🏾I deal with clients like her often and it still amazes me when I see the finished look but no matter what you suggest they like what they like so I love it☺️
I was thinking the style was a bit young, but you worked it and did an awesome awesome job! And she looked fabulous and I can tell she felt fabulous too! I have Alopecia and she’s definitely blessed to have as much hair as she does. Keep doing what you’re doing it’s awesome!!
My hair is thin and sometimes I want styles that I can’t get and my hairdresser will let me know what’s realistic too 😂 you did an amazing job on her , I understand sometimes as a woman no matter how old you get, you wanna feel youthful and sexy but you gotta be realistic to and if suggestions are constructive then at least think about them when making your own decision.
I love her hair, but for her age, it would have been better for the braid to be swirled around in a bun. This style is more appropriate on someone younger
Hey Carla 💗 Don't laugh but I thought yesterday was Sunday. I waited off & on all day for your upload until around 5 when my daughter walked in. I asked her what day it was 😊😊😊😊😊. I'm here now 😁. I like the hairstyle but not on her. When she got the ponytail on her crown I didn't like it on her but who am I? She's a grown woman and can do what she wants. Baby hair? I think it belongs on babies or young girls under 12. Too much is overkill and a distraction from the hairstyle. What you did was enough.
I LOVED the style! It was flawless and very defined. A little youthful for her in my opinion but it came out great!!! I still would prefer her to use yaki or a kinky straight textured hair.
Um... this is sorcery. I sat here and watched this entire video from the beginning and by the end I was like, yup, magic. You did your thing to the point where I think it actually suits this young at heart lady. ❤️
They just don’t make hair stylist like Miss Carla anymore. I hardly ever see hair stylists that know how to do everything and gives you what you ask for. If I was in the Fl area I would stay in her salon.
When I go to my hair dresser with an idea about a shape or colour I think might look good on me she will sit down and discuss the Pros and Cons of it. She knows my illnesses and my body restrictions and will talk me out of a cut or colour but always has a back up plan which turns out to be 100% better. You have to trust your hair dresser, they don't want you walking around with an awful hair cut because that reflects badly on them and when that happens they lose business.
I am impressed with your work. It’s extremely well done. How this style will look to others I don’t know, but she’s happy and she’s the client. I’d say this style is a success.
I’m definitely not team baby hairs! So least the better 😂 but however, you have magic in your hands bc this came out beautifully! ❤ “ we didn’t argue too much, just a little bit “ ❤😂
CARLA,, You did a faboulous job on your client. You and your client worked together to give her what you both wanted and in the end of her service her hair looked so spectacular and her smile on her face was priceless. God Bless You Carla for your blessed talents thank-you so much for what you do. Mrs. Sandra E. Pittman-Chicago, IL
Tell Ms Sally (I know that’s not her name 😝) that your advice is on point. It was just enough to not go overboard. I love the subtle baby hairs too. Nice job 👍🏾 as usual Carla. 💜
I like how you don't chop off your clients hair no matter what degree of alopecia they have . Some hairdressers go for the cut immediately !! You work with what the clients have & it is so uplifting ! No one want their hair taken off if they already have hair loss . Good job Carla... I would trust you to be my stylist any day & I am very " picky " about who touches my hair !!
That style is more for a younger girl. It makes her look like she's trying hard to recapture her youth with is not a good look for a mature woman. 😧 Your technique is on point though and you are right about the baby 👶🏽 hairs. 🤭
Carla…🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 the hairstyle is gorgeous!!! You got mad talent, as I always comment. Ms. Mildred being young at heart is perfectly okay 👌🏽, but pleaseeee no baby hairs😩 ya hair looks fabulous. Another “slam” Ms. Carla…blessings ❤️
Life is short. You should have given her all the baby hairs that she wanted. If she wanted a braid that stretched to Miami...give it to her. Lol. You are a magician. Amazing work. 🌟.
I think you should always give the customer what they want-regardless of what you “think look better”-that’s why I personally stopped going to the shop & started to do my own hair. I’m blessed w hands from God. Thank you God-bc that’s every clients pet peeve, honestly. It isn’t fair. I feel so sorry for clients that get micromanaged by their stylists.
Perfectly done..i agree less baby hair is better for a more natural look...I think a bun out of that long ponytail would of been much better and age appropriate ....but its still a gorgeous look and age is just a number so who cares as long as she is happy with the out come.....all hail to the hair Goddess Carla.
@@denisehenry3427 Go check your dictionary since you don't know the meaning.....Did i not say Carla did a fabulous job....read and understand you make yourself look dumb.
beautiful. my sister visited America in the 80s. in new york she entered a hairdressers and asked for a cut. apparently it was a bit awkward.she had no idea that different races had different hairdressers, we didnt have that here in Australia back then.
@18:37 Older women don't need a ton of baby hairs. We don't need to look like we're trying to be 17 again. Some of us try to rock the hairstyles that the teens and 20's are wearing. I'm not saying you have to look like an old lady, but you don't want to look like you're trying to be a teenager again. 50+ is time for grown and sexy styles.
Your skills are amazing! I am 58yo and would prefer a more conservative style but this style made her happy. Do what works for them and you to keep them coming back. She is very sassy and beautiful. Awesome job!
Tf is with all these judgemental assholes in the comments??? If she paid for the service she deserves exactly what she asked for. No "it's too youthful," "oh it just doesn't fit her," it does. Be quiet. It wound up stunning in the end! Just look at her confidence and that beautiful, long braid!! Skillfully done and absolutely gorgeous. Good for her!
Ok what in the Sam Hill is all y'all young folks talking about. Gives her a youthful look. As long as she happy. What? Pony tails been around since the beginning of fix your own hair days. What goes around comes right back in style again. Great job. Love the edge look you gave her on the short side. Leave the babyhair for the youngsters. Magic fingers. A++ 😍
20:29 Her smile says it all! I see it worked out well. This hairstyle is very cute and neat🌹 Looks natural in the front and undetected. Excellent job!!
If Sis likes it I luv it n she can wear what style she likes unless I’m wrong n we as women are a monolith who are not entitled to our own style n not what society say we should look like at whatever age her happiness is what I saw at the end of this amazing job so Kudos Sis wear you hair baby🔥🔥🔥
I dont believe that the client is always right sorry if something if its something it wont benefit her I wouldnt put it on her. But the hair is beautiful
You created the style nice but I agree with you me personally I have wanted styles I thought was cute and when I really looked at it I looked crazy not saying the style look crazy I’m just saying not all styles fit me no matter how cute they are my opinion
I think you did a beautiful job. It's very impressive the work you do and even more impressive the patience and kindness you bestow upon your clients even the stubborn ones. You know you did great with the big smile of confidence she had on her which automatically gave it 2 thumbs up! God bless! You did a nice job with the baby hairs.
She reminds me of Taraji P. Henson a bit, I guess it's some of her features. Anyway, I'm glad a middle ground was reached, while the integrity of her desired hairstyle was achieved.
As always Ms.Carla you never never ever disappoint. I absolutely love this style and your client omg i love her, she literally can rock any hairstyle 💇🏾♀️ you do on her.
Hey Carla♥️ I Just wanted to ask why did you not agree with her hair style of choice? and also it turned out beautiful as usually as all your hairstyles do(might I add)😍😍😍 stay blessed, love watching your channel🙏🏾 Also I have a question do you do lace front for people who have a low hairline if you do could you please send me a link to one of those clients that you did that on I was told I couldn’t get one because of my hairline being too low lol
I think the disagreement was that the client wanted Carla to sculpt more baby hairs & Carla disagreed. Carla did the amount if baby hair she thought that would look good & the client ultimately agreed..
I’m pretty much a wig person, I like bob’s, straight or wavy, also beach waves a little pass my shoulders. You did a good job with this lady she didn’t need a lot of baby hair and definitely no ponytail down to her butt. She looks old as me or close and I am 65yrs old. I would love to get a silk press on my natural hair even though I know it won’t last because I sweat a lot when working out. I need some color too. I’m new to my area and trying to find the right stylist
Hi Carla, you MASTERED again. Love the style. I know that she feels good when she comes in to get her hair done. I really appreciate you directing her the right way on what should and shouldn't. Those Babe hairs are something to keep up with. Thanks again💖
As a mature woman, I can really appreciate when we know what we want :), and the two of you collaborated (and your excellent skill as a stylist) created a very nice outcome for the client! Beautiful & beautifully done!!
I like the work you do. I also understand that some clients are difficult to please. Especially when the client has her mind made up regarding a particular style. I believe that older women should, whenever possible, select hair styles that are flattering to the shape of the face and size of the head. Hair styles, I believe should also flatter the body and the personality of the client. I'm a plus size girl and I try to balance all of the above mentioned parameters to get the effect I'm trying to achieve. It takes a dose of self love and self respect and an excellent stylist to get the right look for you!
It's pretty but that style on her maybe not all the other hairstyles that she have had has been so pretty on her and more age appropriate just my opinion
