My love it has nothing to do with the shade of one’s skin but is the mind set the heart of the individual never hate on someone because of the shade of their skin hate the evil that goes on in their hearts and mind God bless you 👑Mr Exceptional
As a people who share boundaries and region with the Republic of Rwanda we will keep telling our children "never again".May God continue to give comfort to those who were victimised during that darkest movement in history of mankind. One Africa,One people,One continent ❤
for the first time I watched this movie i felt so bad in my life. Idris thank you so much for having good thoughts to make this movie. many who watched it we liked it until today. may God bless you
That last scene is chilling. So many Tutsi refugees fled to churches believing them to be places of sanctuary. They had no idea this would be their grave.
this is why identity politics needs to end....it always ends the same way in every country that goes down that path....People need to say no to leftist ideologies that stoke hatred and division. This is happening in the west right now.
Unfortunately it’s constantly repeating starting in big hunger in Ukraine (1931), Japanese attack on Nankin, then hitler and and World War II, then Stalin regime (he is responsible or death of 20mln innocent Russians, and other Eastern Europeans), Cambodia, Vietnam, then Chechnya, Yugoslavia, Rwanda, the earth is covered in mass graves
I am an African living in Africa southern africa in a country called Botswana 🇧🇼. thanks God our country has never experience such a thing called war or any other mischievous of life.god be with my country till the end of time in Jesus mighty name I pray Amen Jehovah 🙏🙏
This is more deserving to watch than those nonsense tik-tok.... I didn't know that this happen to Rwanda until youtube recommends this video... RIP to all the victims...
it was way worse than what you see in this little sequence babies children women pregnant women grandfathers grandmothers were killed even by machetes it was the real hell in there
Yes it happened and it took over 100 days killing more than 1million Tutsis and some Hutus who didn't want to corporate with their fellow Hutus to do the killings
Sad for Africa. But a shame for UNO, France and Belgium for their direct complicity in the genocide. More shame for Clinton America who just watched as a repeat of the Holocaust was done in Africa; first it was in the Congo, then Biafra, then Rwanda and so on!
...perhaps you need a little more education on this matter - this situation was precipitated by the White Man (Belgians). 'There were NO Hutus or Tutsis before the WhiteMan came'
I'm Rwandan, when I heard the voice of a baby who was crying and calling his mother like mama, mama oh God it makes me crying too😭 and I feel that pain of a young kid, I can say too many but all I have to say is "NEVER AGAIN".
This movie made me shed uncontrollable tears. I was imagining finding myself in this situation. The UN team aided in the genocide. The US is still igniting one crisis in Congo.
I saw this movie and was terrified of the evil and brutality of this Genocide...I remember seeing graphic footage on CNN in the early 90s of bodies being dumped in Mass graves..God Bless the people of Rwanda despite it's dark past, now it's among the most stable countries in Africa.
@@antoinekabuya1461shitty comment considering the fact that there are over 100 rebel groups in DRC who are doing the same thing as the m23 is doing. Congo will not be a stable country anytime soon.
This movie was incredible. Very sad that the world sat by and did nothing. Politicians only care about profits, not people. Idris, your performance was spectacular, made me forget you were Stringer Bell.
😐 And right now, the World is acting the same way for DRC. The World is sitting, waiting, watching and even participating to the biggest genocide ever!!! 🙏🙏🙏
These colonizers always have ulterior motives sowing seeds of hate and destruction. It's not shocking. It's their habit. Let peace and harmony prevail. God is great. I love Rwanda.
No exaggeration cause we lived this life till no one needed to say that he was a Rwandan so that he could live an other single day. Thanks to God who strengthened RPA (Rwanda Patriotic Army) to save the people and reform the Current Rwanda.
Africa needs break from god. They should base their life on evidence and respect for science and reason. Superstition and dogma continues to ruin Africa. Thanking god for surviving this genocide while over 800,000 didn’t is criminal.
I have seen just about every movie and documentary on the Rwandan Genocide. This was a very well made movie. Heartbreaking, but necessary to watch in my opinion.
I was enlightened and educated with the fact of watching this movie. Each and every time I was intrigued and ... I learn more about the situation in other countries in which the country that I live in kept this hidden from the individuals in society. You are a very good and brilliant actor who brought this situation and the character to life, for individuals such as myself to understand how the administration talks and walks away during a crisis. Thank you for playing a role in this movie.......
Yesterday, today, tomorrow and always never forgotten GENOCIDE, shall always feel sorry for the innocent lives were butchered mercilessly, THE lives can never be back but alls left is regret , the entire world did nothing to save or stop the bloodshed,. Highly respect we send our condolences to people's of RWANDA Hutu or Tutsi tribes both run the same blood as any other humans. All our blessings from PAKISTAN . Love KIGALI . HEAVEN OF AFRICA.
Rwanda is rising so fast because of good leadership of President Paul Kagame. As Rwandans and our friends. Let us stand for the truth. God bless Rwanda
They are not marines you muppet, they are the UN, sent to help keep peace after one of the tribes decided to massacre the other. Nothing to do with diamonds or gold.....
@@lilyg2134 that black man who said "Really !! We don't have diamond, we don't have oil wat do u want in Rwanda?" He is Abby Mukiibi the CEO Afri talent Uganda
Wow when the people came out the woods imagine the fear I felt my heart drop 💔 we failed Rwanda and could have helped that shows just the present if troops alone could have stopped them smh 😢😢
In all fairness, it's difficult to put together a sufficiently large and well-equipped force in very little time, and get it there, remember this genocide was planned ahead of time, and if you have no intel on the who's, what's, and where's, stopping something like this is very difficult. But I'll agree that the international community turned its backs on the victims.
A know win situation for the UN. or any western democracy trying to help. Damned if you intervene, you are blamed for contributing to it. Damned if you don't for ignoring it.
We survived this atrocity Thx #inkotanyi for save our country(our heroes). finally we are Rwandan thx Idris Elba for your help to make or show the world what's was gone in Rwanda genocide never again Am proud of my motherland. am Rwandan Hora Rwanda
I cry like baby when I saw this what happen to Rwanda,it's similar what happen to my country somalia one million dead becouse. Outside forces wan't to happen and we somalian are damn lets happen, after 25 years we recovering big mark showing as country and as people.we grateful to turkey government and Turkey nation for there help to rebuild somalia.
We had a war in Somalia back in 1991 killing. Looting . Running away from your home .I really feel sorry for the Rwanda genocide .I know a lot of innocent live lost in that war and a lot of people became refugees in the neighbouring counties . AFRICA stop the war and killing each other because it doesn't make any change if you keep murdering your brothers and sisters...one love Africa.

During the genocide I was in college, partying, living my life fancy free, complaining about the small things and across the world my people were being slaughtered and butchered for no reason. This is so horrifying!!
Each time I watch this scene the white guy denying that “our convoy is the trucks and jeeps” tears run my eyes 😭😭. This is really knowing your time of death and how you will be dying 😢
I watch this film about 13 year ago my god i cried my heart out i watched it today and it was the same emotion i was so afraid for the women in the bathroom
My friend, this is less than what happened. I lost 69 members of my family during this genocide. Most of them have been dumped alive in toilets, piled up one over another. Others beaten with nailed sticks to death. I think survivors of this genocide are among the most shocked people in the world. We're quite, we smile but deep down wounded. May God keep showing up!
@@Slarti esas personas son inhumanos incluso muchos aún se reúnen para reirsen de los asesinatos, las muertes de los niños, etc, no tienen remordimientos, tienen hijos, viven, rien etc
@@saltymonke3682 as a South African, our Army experienced the same in Central African Republic. 13 of our 300 troops lost lives at the hands of 3000 Seleka rebels.
Nigeria experienced this same situation in 1967-1970 , during the civil war. Over 3million Igbo people and many Nigerian soldiers lost their lives. Some people that failed to learn from history are still fanning the ember of war. Let's learn to tolerate one another
We have witnessed & suffered as a species,GOD bless each & everyone of you, ime optimistic that we have turned a corner & this world of Man has turned a corner & we in the age of goodwill, early stages yet but a triple becomes a flow. For GOD, For 🌎, For Us all 🤝 💚
