I remember seeing them at my first ever gig,and i picked a good one,Donnington monsters of rock 1991.I had kind of heard of them before but when i heard that wail out if this skinny little guy i was hooked ever since.My main memories of that day were Chris's voice,how loud Motley Crue were,Metallica ballsing up a near first playing of a song of their recent Black album and when Angus Young first appeared at the start of Acdc,s gig and put his arm in the air to the crowd,over 100,000 folk went nuts!!Never forget it.
I love it when bands *Dont* change the song live...this is a rare exception as I've seen multiple live performances of this, my favorite Crowes song, that were unappealing to say the least.

I will get slammed for this but tha's ok with me! If the Black Crowes opened for the Stones in the old days they would have smoked them. Chris is not the front man that Mick is but he could out sing him anyday. These guys are the evolution of American rock, sit back and enjoy them!
At 3:14, Chris Robinson chokes or try to sing in a higher key that he couldn't, but, as a awesome singer, he found the key and kept the good performance...nice vid...better than the official videoclip...

Thanks for postings. One of the greatest renditions of one of the greatest songs by one of the greatest bands of all time. To this day, because of stuff like this, I hate Kate Hudson. Yeah, I know they have child together, but I still feel if Chris did not marry her, the band could have worked through their issues and be as big as the Rolling Stones. "I wish I had a nickel for every miracle you easily tricked me into......" Mmph.
It's another version of this song where the singer completely ignores the timing and melody of the recorded version in favour of a level of improv that if the rest of the band played like that the song would fall over on its arse. Was there ever a version of this where he didnt noodle all the way thru?
