Somewhere Over the Rainbow - IZ | EASY UKULELE TUTORIAL 

72 years old and I finally learned the right chords for Over the Rainbow. That song always reminds me of my daughter when she was three and wanted me to drive our car up on top of a rainbow to see things. And of course it also reminds me of Dorothy and the great Izzy. Thank you so much for this. And yes, I will drink my water and eat my vegetables and be a good person.

Great tutorial :) I just got my ukulele a couple days ago and I've been improving a lot! Also, does anyone have tips for transitioning between chords? I tend to pause between the chords and it doesn't sound very nice.

The strumming pattern is hard until you get it, And if you just do it correctly, it sounds beautiful and i was like, “OMG, I CAN PLAY SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW!!!” I was so happy then i was just memorizing it then, thanks for the tutorial!

So, quick backstory: I got my ukulele for Christmas this year (it’s December 30th). When my great grandma died, her favorite song was the Hawaiian version of somewhere over the rainbow. My goal was to learn this and play it at a family reunion or something. Now I know how to play this song and I can’t wait for the next family get together! Thanks for reading

If you have trouble with Em just do Cmaj7 which is just the same place as C but one fret moved up. Not the same but it will work.
