From "Anglo Concertina in the Harmonic Style" by Gary Coover, p.100. One of the greatest movie songs of all time, this Academy Award winner was written by Harold Allen and Yip Harburg for the 1939 film classic "The Wizard of Oz" to be sung by a very young and very talented Judy Garland. Sure, I could have played this on a duet concertina instead, but it's much more challenging to make it work within the limitations of a C/G 30-button Anglo that has different notes pushing and pulling.
Astute listeners will notice a little tribute to Eva Cassidy's amazing version of this song!
