@James Alderman No he hasn't gotten a bigger one, shot a couple doe but has switched to bow hunting now and still trying to get his first one with a bow. Thanks for the comment!

Great parenting Dad! I too am blessed to have a son that loves to hunt & shoot nvr gets old for me & when he gets something im shaking more then he ever used too before & after the shot 👍
Thank you! It was a SPECIAL day for sure. He has not harvested another deer since then but he has switched to Bow hunting and we all know the challenges and growing pains that come with Archery! Hoping to be posting some more video's soon!
I think Caden was dealing with the fact he'd just taken a life. Dad was just overwhelmingly proud. Caden: animals do not have souls and God gave man dominion over the wildlife. It's ok!
Woah there buddy I wouldn’t go that in depth with a child... but I would say as advice everyone felt that joy with their first deer and you can know where the food on your table came from.
Where I'm from that's a deer of a life time, 4 years ago I shot the biggest deer ever killed in our area 146 7/8" probably ever, and i teared when i found it the next day. Great job, he's officially got the hunting disease

I just started last year any tips would be awesome my father wasn’t a hunter and I never grew up learning but I’ve always wanted to. Congrats to young man. Hopefully this year I’ll be able to get mine with a crossbow or my compound!
