I wore out every piece of music Uncle Tupelo put out when I was a teenager, and instead of going with Wilco like most people did I much preferred Son Volt. Nothing wrong with Wilco it's just a little bit more generic rock than the roots rock/country sound these guys had. This album stayed in my CD player my junior and senior year.

I heard this song one day on college radio in Tuscaloosa in 08. I tried to contact the station but it was no longer on air ..I had this song stuck in my head for years without knowing who it was or what it was called...torture until I finally found it by singing the melody to Google...life changing song I'll always cherish
