Hong Sung-Joon, General Manager of the Strategic planning department, presents three innovations unveiled by Sonartech during MADEX 2021: A new active passive sonobuoy, an anti-submarine seaplane and a new sonar suite for the ROK Navy mine hunting ships.

- Dual purpose (active and passive) sonobuoy. The company started working on this project in 2017. It is being developed for the ROK Navy's maritime patrol aircraft. It is composed of 4 to 6 active sensors and a single passive sensor.
- Aron and Sonartech have teamed up to produce an anti-submarine warfare variant of the Aron M80 "WIG ship" (sea plane). The M80 can carry 24 Sonartech sonobuoys (F type), has a maximum flight speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and a range of 800 kilometers.
- Sonartech is in charge of the modernization of the sonar suite of the ROK Navy MHC / Ganggyeong-class minehunter. They developed a new mine warfare sonar and new consoles.
