Vincenzo in Italy: Mafia Consigliere Vincenzo in Korea: Tired Corn Salad I swear the transition from his Italian scenes in Italy to his scenes in Korea is just. Hilarious
Instead of criticizing I like to ask you if you could do it better because from what I have read Italian people have said his pronunciation is excellent
@@MatthewSmith-xt3eyI am from Venice and I can confirm that yes, his accent is more from North. No particular region. Of course it is not slang language. In Italy each region has his own accent and dialect but we all understand each others when speaking Italian. And he must have really trained a lot. It is impressive. 😀
I love that he speaks Italian I’ve seen a lot of dramas where a main character will go to a foreign place and speak Korean, which never made sense to me since in reality no one would understand them. edit- holy thanks for all the likes omg
Same! I also love that he also falls back into Italian serveral times e.g. when he is upset. Totally makes sense, since irl he would not be used to speak Korean all the time :)
And in Mad Dog Woo DoHwan spoke german, even tho it was reaaaaally unclear in the first few episodes, but he also did when he was upset or needed help. But his brother in the show was also really impressive in speaking german even tho he wasn't supposed to come from Germany.
i'm italian and when i heard him speaking italian i was so chocked, he's so good! I was also so happy to know that one of my favourite actors speaks my language
He doesn't speak your language. He learned it because it was part of his job. Do you really think that he can hold on to a proper Italian conversation? Not a chance. So, technically he doesn't speak Italian
@@honeststraightforward1485 i saw the k drama and as an italian i think he could understand a basic conversation; he doesn't have the best italian accent but he manages well
The way he says "cercati me?" is fantastic. They had Italian actors, they could have easily dubbed the Italian parts but instead had him speak it, a good move.
if pay attention enough each chapter he just got better and better and speaking in another language was easier for him while in first chapters he kinda had a hard time and looked awkward but on the last episodes he could speak so much faster and easier. impressive it just shows how much energy and work he actually put on in his acting and each character he gets👏🏻👏🏻
all those bashing him for not being able to pronounce well. I'm not even Italian but I tried to pronounce a few words and it's really hard. Song Joon Ki is a KOREAN actor who is ACTING as an Italian mafia, no need to hate him so damn much we have subtitles too
I have read lots of comments from Italian speaking people and they have said his pronunciation is very good. As for those criticizing him I would say try speaking Korean. He did an excellent job. He worked hard in the pronounciation and learning the lines when it could have been dubbed it shows just what a dedicated and excellent actings skills SJK has. 👏👏👏👏
As a Italian, i wasn't expecting much, he emphasize on some syllabus which Italians don't, sometimes I do not comprehend what he was saying, or he sounded quite weird but he was really good. Italian can be a very hard language, especially for Asian people (as an Asian myself) which have completely different language
Vincenzo is the best, from the beginning when he is addressed as Il consigliere to the very end. He carries himself with power - it’s all in the walk - and he is cold, so cold when he tops someone. Just like shooing an annoying fly away! ……Beautiful music, scenery and a cast of actors who made the story come alive. I can never really see Ok Taec-yeon as a “goody” since then.
Wooow I'm Italian and I'm very happy because he is so good in Italian, it has made great progress and will improve in the future. It's so rare to see Korean actors speaking Italian!
@4:39 Vincenzo repeating the lyrics of the famous Opera “Nessun dorma” by Giacomo Puccini is just epic! It gives me goosebumps looking to such cultural highness mixed up in an evil guy. Wonderful ❤❤❤
@@yasmine6862 He says "Questo edificio è mio" his pronounciation is pretty good, but having the propper tones and accents is really important for intelligibility.
What's so funny is everyone is mentioning how hard it is to speak Italian, but the fact he's Korean (also extremely hard language) can speak another hard language...blows my mind. That couldn't have been easy. Like someone who only speak English (like me) trying to learn either one of these languages, and here he is doing both pretty darn well.
As someone who speak Italian my mom and I couldn’t stop laughing at his Italian but that’s why we loved the series even more and he also got better each time he spoke ❤
i love his voice❤ It was great that he was the one who was chosen to portrayed the role, it suits him very much. He nailed it! Vincenzo Cassano is only for Song Joong Ki, I think!❤
Seeing this drama Song joong ki speaking in Italy. I feel like learning italian language. Extraordinary elegance❤❤❤ with mesmerizing acting in this drama is Daebuk
Im italian and Jong ki was pretty amazing,i Imagine Is not Easy as korean speak italian.rembember italian Is One of the most difficult language in the world.
"I'm Italian and the way he speaks and the accent are impressive, he speaks better than some Italian guys. Vincenzo italy 🇮🇹 love you 🇮🇹" I'm not sure if it's true tho...
@@durarafhana3465 Don't exaggerate please. He speak the typical script Italian. Also he doesn't speak Italian better then an Italian born. And mostly who translated it to English, have made a mess of it. Italian can easily been translated to English, but whoever did it, do not have a proper knowledge of both languages. I think an auto translator have been used for it. He has a very deep voice which is typical in Korean men, but most definitely he doesn't speak Italian when not on screen
i'm italian and i love k dramas, i swear when i heard Song Joong Ki speaking italian i was SHOKEDDD 1 he is so good at it like whattt 2 i never heard a kdrama actor speak italian
I'm Italian and he doesn't sound natural. He spells out the words too slowly with a strong foreigner accent. But I appreciate the effort and then he's soooo cool and cute😍
