Mark was alot like a south eastern version of Elliott S in terms of personality and recording style, although, as much as I dearly love Elliott, I put Mark a step up. I think Sparklehorse stands up as a timeless act a bit more than ES. Good Morning Spider is a revelation. Also. NEW ALBUM COMING. The one he was almost done with. “Evening start supercharger” is 👌
@@MasterChiefFLY so stoked. I really liked “it’ll never stop” but it didn’t really sink in how excited I was till “evening star supercharger” came out. If a genie had given me three unreleased art related wishes, getting this Sparklehorse album would’ve been right up there with Salingers 5 finished novels he asked to be published, but his family is constantly delaying the release of, and the two plus albums worth of Elliott Smith songs UMG is hiding in their vaults🙄.
