It's not a conversation, but he has a question section on his website and he actually responds to questions. Not all questions, but tons, so ask him a good one.
that little sample of the sheet for this song reminded me that dissonant and musically random ur music sounds there's a shit ton of artistry and a strange sort of sense in it that's nonsensical at the same time but musically nonsensical. kinda like jazz. but bill wurtz jazz.
When you actually look into it... these videos are deep. You're free to do whatever you want to You're free to do whatever you won't do Have a nice day.

dieyoung thanks ! this is not the first Bill Wurtz's song I "chorded", I also made New Canaan, I Don't Wanna Go To School, Alphabet Shuffle, Dance The, I'm Crazy/It'ss Raining, Still Silly, Go Home (I Wanna), and Barf On Me.
"You're free to do whatever you won't do." I feel like this line got a little overlooked. I personally feel that it means the hard choice is most likely the right choice, for example, a break up. You tell someone you won't break up with them, they become toxic or something, and the only way out is to break up with them.
+nqodle Songs can have deeper meanings...LOTS,if not most song have deeper meaning...i don't want to be THAT person, but what are you listening to?Philosophically analyzing songs is normal, and so is music with this kind of symbolism, where have you been?Do you even know anything about art, genuinely?
but i still hesitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate yeah
WhovianYT // Actually, I keep getting comments about my avatar. If I would have know that I would have spent longer drawing it instead of half-assing it like I did.
I have found 5 meanings of life. 1. Learn as much as I can about the universe around me. 2. Create and accomplish as much as I can. 3. Live as long as I can. 4. Have fun, do what I want. 5. Create a legacy that will last beyond my death.
Friend: What's the meaning of life? Me: time squared divided by the difference of money and attitude plus the square root of good to the power of evil divided by the sun of idea and random! Friend: No it's 42 wtf was that
The meaning of life is to do what you want. Life isn't about math and overthinking. Life isn't about the amount of seconds, but how you spend them. Wow, I just roasted myself.
Same and I'm sitting here thinking of fun stuff I want to do and it bring Wednesday was weird enough and then he said you're free to do whatever you won't do and I just looked at my floor at the project I need to do

+bill wurtz How about SUNRISE LAAAND? :D My favorite of your melodies. When ever my room mates ask me to do anything I just propose sunrise land to them with according melody.
Goliard So... the meaning of life is to do the least good and evil by following your ideas while making your life spontaneous in the doubled time you have while also reducing/adding your money with your positive/negative personality.
This song takes me back several years to when I was just a awkward 14/15-year-old with crippling social anxiety. The first years of High School were rough as hell. However, every day after school I would come home, open up Vine (where I discovered your work), and watch a new video that you had uploaded, which never failed to get me smiling no matter how hard the day was. I remember finding this one around the very beginning of my freshmen year and dreaming of the days of when I'm finally included into events/activities with my friends or when I'll finally get the courage to talk to my crush. For the last year now, I've been taking medication to help with my anxiety and depression, and sure enough - it's worked like a charm. I don't think it was even the medicine though, I guess I just finally woke up realizing that the whole universe isn't against me, realizing that it was myself that was holding me back all along. I dunno, but things are much better from then, I'll tell ya that. Keep up the great work, bill.
The meaning of life = [(time^2)/(money-attitude)] + [(√good^evil)/(idea+random)]

i love the contrast between the lyrics in his songs like he's singing about faith but then also it's just i just moved into a church and the visuals just make it amazing
And you see the song uses Irony, by saying that you're free to do whatever you want to, but then describing how Bill wants to do all these things but can't, because he's afraid or feels it's unoriginal.
I feel like Bill Wurtz's videos all have deeper meanings to them, even if some of them don't make a lot of sense. It's quite honestly amazing to see and really enjoyable.
Every time I listen to this song it makes me appreciate all the random little things I can enjoy doing in the world, like eating a bagel or wearing a hat. Or listening to bill wurtz.
You're free to do whatever you want to You're free to do whatever you need to You're free to do whatever you want to You're free to do whatever you need to I just moved into a church. And I want to express myself to the world. I'm too shy to do it, I'm afraid to speak my mind. I wanna shout I wanna shout I wanna scream to the sky and get everyone high. Cuz I just found out the meaning of life I still hesitate, yeah. I wanna go back in time, back to the year where everyone was born and show them how to understand the possibilities that they own Show you where faith comes from, show you how to make things good, but I just can't get over my fear, man I wish I could You're free to do whatever you want to You're free to do whatever you need to You're free to do whatever you got to All night long And it's Wednesday And it's Thursday! And I can't seem to find my way! You're free to do whatever you WON'T do.
"i wanna go back in time, back to the year everyone was born and show them how to understand the possibilities that they own." just found my senior quote.
Analysis time: Okay, so I feel like a lot of Bills songs are very deep under all the delicious and wonderful word soup that's amazingly random. This one for sure, definitely. And that one point in the song around 0:50, where it's "I want to go back in time where everyone was born..." is where the songs theme is pointed out. When it begins, "I want to go back in time, back to the time everyone was born...", years are shown, they go down through the era of world wars, the 20th century. This is the century of the generations that we currently see in government, older, or middle aged. I believe it's a very serious point on how those generations still have a lot of racist, sexist, homophobic views, pro-war, big nationalists etc., not everyone, but many of them. It talks about how he wishes he could "show them the possibilities that they own, show you where faith comes from, show you how to make things good", not relying on past views, on religion and nationalism but in humanity, and each other. Yet, were often too scared to do this to our parents, our grandparents, because, they're our family and we often need validation from them, or our voices are silenced by them. "Respect your elders", "Older and wiser" etc. Yet the song talks about how WE are free to do whatever we want to, we our the new generation, Millennials and Generation Z, we don't have to live for their validation and we are our own people. We can end the fear and discrimination and blind following of faith and patriotism that our parents and grandparents still do. He's going to "move in to a church", AKA he's going to preach this to us. "You're free to do ever you won't do" is saying that you can do things they tell you not to. You are free to do whatever they say you won't do. "Don't be gay, don't be atheist/agnostic, don't go against the American dream, don't disrespect me" etc. damn this is a hot Pocket full of symbolic goodness : )
onlynative on-le-na-tiv adjective the state of being the physical embodiment of retardation This applies to several of my friends. "The onlynative man stuck his fork into the toaster to retrieve a lost piece of toast"
song: "you´re free to do whatever you want to" me: i´m to shy to do it i´m afraid to speak my mind (but i can only drink "introvert water" darn damnt teeth)
I can't figure out if I'm actually digging this music or if it's being hoisted up by the superb presentation. Either way you're doing the internet right and I subscribed.
yknow almost every time i watch this, its a thursday or a wednesday. like my subconscious is like "oh, its that time of the week again, you know what you gotta do"
I just moved into a church actually means that he found his faith and belief in happiness and benevolence. It means that he's now protected from doubt and fear.
