What I love about Bill’s music is that they’re the sort of songs a kid comes up with on the spot in the bath but set to the kind of synth beats you’d hear in a shopping centre lift. “Bathlift” is my new favourite genre.

I have been a MEW (the band) fan for over a decade and Bill is the only artist that somehow gets that same vibe of softly sung lyrics with absolutely no specific meaning accompanied with a lovely upbeat/energetic/almost dreamy tune. They both could release a song about impending doom and I’d still jam to it like it’s about a nice summer day with friends.

I would watch this video over and over again, just because I want to see everything happening; the lyrics, visual effects, everything!

Not too long ago, I wrote an essay in school about this song, in which I compared it to some literature, I've spent tens of hours analyzing the lyrics. this song is fantastic, because, despite me listening to it on repeat and analyzing every word for about a month straight, coming back and listening to it again, I have an entirely different interpretation that really hits home. By far one of my favorite songs.
