The ER had went for like 9 patches or something, no shit they were so praised, although it seems u forgot some of them still had unfinished lore (ex, Aponia, Eden, Kalpas) they were hinted at the very beginning, They were interesting, amazing characters from the PE. Give the Shus a break, they just appeared and we're only 3 chapters into pt2. The main reason they get backlash is because of nobody wanting pt 2 and just want to move to APHO, along with backlash from PT 1 dogshit ending. If MiHoyo actually handled pt 1 cast and gave them a more deserving ending the backlash of pt 2 cast would've been much less.. Let go of the Flamechasers damn, they were peak but no need to compare them to the 7 Shus, I'm sure we'll get there eventually, just wait for MiHoyo to hopefully cook something good again

So HI3 lost it's unique identity with no more animated short. Sad this is the new direction they going. I want real animated short with awesome vocal song like part 1. I know when they said there's no animated short for 1.5 it's a hint what to come...
You're just spewing arbitrary assumption. The dev said nothing about removing "animated shorts". Just because they made CGs doesn't mean they stopped doing "animated shorts". They've made this type of CGs before - albeit much lower quality - yet they still made animated shorts. And this isn't even the final chapter of Langqiu. Even before, not until chapter 9 they first started making animated short. Granted 9 chapter before, was probably the same length as current 3 chapters. Animated short is one of Mihoyo's brand gimmick, even Genshin started branding their short animation video series as "animated shorts". From business standpoint, it's unlikely for them to remove their significant part of the brand, especially when it was originated from HI3rd series. Not to mention, HI3rd quite recently released 2d short film during CNY with a song just like how they do in animated shorts.
@@mzxa9988Most likely we have the animated shorts when a major milestone of a story hits. Like when Kiana becomes HoV or so one. Not everything have to have someone singing with rhe music for it ro be good. Rhis hatred towards part 2 is insane. I gwt it we miss part 1 but I bet if hoyoverse milk ot try, you would hate it and demand something new. The story is in the early stages, we have years to go, let's enjoy this new different story with different characters and learn their story.
