Call me Sentimental but today is 21st December 2019,. This Classic Tune by Sonia was on TOTP on 21st December 1989, 30 Years ago to this day. Legendary Music from the Stock Aitken, and Waterman Era, and Sonia was a Legend, and is still Legendary to this day. Sonia is a Legend. I was only 9 when this was on, but never took notice, but only know I truly Appreciate the Magical Feel Good Number this Truly was. The Stock Aitken, and Waterman songs were about the Celebration of Life as Pete Waterman once said I Believe.
So full of energy and just bouncing and bursting with life, what's not tp like about her? Shes fab! Exudes confidence too, love to spend a few hours with her, I bet she's just fantastic and such a scream to hang around with!

I wish I was there, where was that? I ´d love to hear something fresh from PWL right out of TOTP Speakers and see Sonia live on on stage. Sonia was actually the one and only they took literally from the street and make a little pop star. And she did it so well. No experience, nothing but her bubbly heart and really good voice. I wish I was there. Lucky you !

Lots of talent comes out of Liverpool! I went there in February- stunning city - STUNNING. Lots of southerners think that Liverpool is a complete dive. The parts of Liverpool I saw were awesome. Scousers sound intimidating but they are actually very friendly people. Very dry sense of humour and extremely proud of their city (quite rightly so). My mum went up there in September and was taken in by Liverpool too. Honourable scousers!!
I wonder why Stock-Aitken-Waterman don't write music - their music has always been popular and recognizable, they had their own unique style. Nobody else creates hits like this.
I have good news for you. S/A/W were a team, and most of the composition duties were performed by Mike Stock. He still writes music to this day, it is still uniquely recognizable, and it is still being released. If you Google "Mike Stock Music" you will find his official web site, and if you look for The Fizz and their album "Smoke And Mirrors", for example, you will hear some of his latest work.

Mike is a great composer with a special flair for musical harmony, sometimes it seems to me that he knows and applies some secret chords that other composers do not know about)). I know that most of the hits of PWL were invented and embodied by Mike, it is very good that he continues to write music.
LISTEN TO YOUR HEART was her 3rd single. Many don’t like her 2nd can’t forget you - but I think it’s brilliant although this is better. It also had a bizarre slow climb up the charts. Few singles that chart outside the top 40 in their first week and then climb like a snail go onto to make the top ten. THIS DID! Amazing. B side better than ever is a belter too
