Always my favorite Girl Band. I was 19 years old when these three belted this song in (1987). I miss the 80s. Too bad the next eighties will be (60) years from now!!!
I always thought that they were extremely talented.....still are....even though shiobhsn went her separate way.....I liked it best when the three of them were together like in their early days.....yikes....not at all easy without personality conflicys😊
Same too me. I always thought always out of the same sound box of Stock Aitken Waterman but i was wrong. Very good singers! Still lovely clear voices after so many years.❤❤❤
Yes, I am an 80s listener. Bananarama is one of the best, I will share a story, me and a gym buddy was talking and listen to music , I am an 80s kid, he is more of today's music, when he listen to I heard a rumor , he plays it ever day. That speaks for itself, quality in music. Bananarama lives on
No lip sync! Just real vocal on stage! Yes they move much less than in the past when they were younger but the energy is still present but differently. This live version is very good and graces my ears. Adding some live backing vocals was relevant as well.
They just get better and better as they age over the years. Three beautiful girls with great voices also and they will be popular forever and I am over 70!!!!
31 years later I still love this song and will stop and listen EVERYTIME it's on.....love them!!!! This version is off the charts!!!! They still GOT IT GOIN' ON!!!
The 80s never sounded better than this Hit. One of the best songs ever performed. this Reunion Performance by the originals - knocked this tune, out of the park.
They do look much better now than back then. Timeless beauty for the three of them. They really sound so good together today and back then. They all are so good. Wish they come to Los Angeles
They DID come to LA. On February 20, 2018, they performed at The Novo. There are RU-vid videos of them singing Venus, Nathan Jones, Aie A Mwana, I Heard A Rumour, Preacher Man, Cheers Then, A Trick Of The Night and I Can’t Help It at that venue. Back in the 80s, Keren was stunningly beautiful, in a Sheena Easton kind of way. She looks so different now.
They are such a good breath of yesteryears GREAT GROUPS...Nostalgic . and so inspiring.. just recorded and uploaded a ROCK BALLAD tribute to Elvis Presley...I wish I had asked them to duet on it . Bananarama ROCK
What a performance !!! The voices have not moved ... the scenic presence is the same ... and always so beautiful ... really a legendary band !!!! 🧡🧡🧡 👍👍👍
Theyre still Cool as.. And still as HOT as they were when we were all younger.. And any interview you watch of them its inspiring to see how Humble and down to earth they are.. Thanks for all your great music girls. Your songs are still as grouse today as they were back in the day.. YOU ROCK..!! Thank U.. ❤❤❤
Many hits of yesterday will take you back to your younger days when you heard them for the first time but this one........Really does it. Just feels immediately like 1986/87. Cheers to these 3 gals!

I have such a love/hate relationship with these 80's songs.............................. I love them because it takes me back to a time when life was so much simpler, we thought things would never change and we lived week to week. Life was not about computers, texting, face book or global warming.................our biggest problem was .......what to wear on Friday night and what the No 1 song on Casey Kasem's weekly countdown would be. I hate them because ..............the chances i have wasted ...........life hasn't gone the way i wanted it to and i can only blame myself.......... I didn't appreciate what i had and threw it away, thinking that it was endless.............. Now i realise that i should have cherished what i had .......especially my gorgeous Ex wife..........whom if i only had of told her how much i loved her and worked on our relationship..........would still be here. Now.............i listen to these songs, memories of where i was start flooding back and .............i think.............if only!!!
I know exactly how you feel. I look back at times I was happy and was looking forward to things happening in my life that never materialised. There is a song by Tori Amos called Gold Dust that always make me think of my youth and times when anything seemed possible but I didnt grasp those chances. Hope you have found some peace in your life now. Wishing you all the best. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eIf2zyDoWn8.html
Damn you said with a soul regarding the 80s. I never knew computers would change the lifestyle of the world, it took away most of the things we took for granted when we were younger, and now we could only use youtube to point to these generations what they are missing. I share everything, except for the wife part, well, not a perfect relationship, I was cheated, but we're still together.
You are not alone in your feelings. Ultimately we are not in control of many things in our lives. Wait till your family and friends start passing and it really hits home. Here's the thing, every day is a gift from day one and thank whomever your higher power. Trust me these people go out of your life for a reason. In my case they would have destroyed me and sure the pain sometimes never goes away. I believe God has a purpose for certain things and i don't say that lightly. Also age really is irrelevant because we never were guaranteed anything beyond this moment. So treat each day as a gift and do great things. I hope this helps.
Can't stop listening to the great melody guitar. Fantastic boost to the song with their great voices and Trillion-dollar smiles. They are everyone's' favorites group. Pure love and excitement forever in the world of dance and entertainment for both upbeat guys and gals enjoying each other. Their enthusiasm, the upbeat story from its lyrics and their powerful voices makes this song an aphrodisiac for lovers of all ages in constantly renewed search of each other. It's obvious to me that they each know this is a unique work of enduring art as they give their souls to its' spectacular performance each time they come together to revitalize it
wow! amazing how good these women are 30 years later. amazing!!!!! not many bands hold up this good, it's too bad the three didn't stay together the whole time.
