Bad ending - Robotnik apparently kills Tails Good ending - Robotnik lets Tails go for some reason Judging by his reaction, Sonic doesn't get it either.
The only explanation I could get from it is that Sonic traded all emeralds in exchange for Tail's to be back, and since eggman's is both a genious inventor and a stupid at the same time (like seriously, if you want the chaos emeralds, why give the one you have to Silver Sonic so he can lose it in battle and let the real sonic get it, what the hell eggman?), he accepted the deal, tried to fool sonic into the last boss arena to defeat him, lost and ran away with the emeralds, but for some reason let Tails get back into the portal, probably to slow sonic down so he could escape? the ending part is really interpretative, so I'm just lost as you guys are. Also I don't think Tails really dies in the bad ending, because A: its a child's game and nothing really proves he died out-screen, and B: the vision sonic has about Tails in the bad ending is more of "Tails, where are you my friend? I'll do my best to find you, I swear!" and not really "TAILS! I'm sorry I let you die buddy, I tried my best, I really did." type of ending.
This is the second game I ever played (after SMS Sonic 1), and possibly my favourite from childhood. So nice to see so much come of it - well done for a great run!!
As a child I always heard people talk about getting it with those springs and never knew what they meant - my way of getting it was using the hang glider from the beginning of the level.
The thing that amazes me most about this game is that one of the stage themes is effectively Toot Toot Sonic Warrior and this game predates Sonic CD by almost a full year.
This is the Sega Master System. Game Gear was just a downscaled Master System with a worse FOV. The Game Gear version is actually alot harder since you only have like half the FOV.
You can technically beat the game in under 5 minutes. You just do level select code then go to last stage. Then rush through the last stage and then you beat the game
@@Hollyhart833 Not the one. The one I'm discussing is the Super Sonic in all gold. Once every special stage is completed. Like this, but for the first game: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CC8XTUp0LZk.html
It's the master system version that's what the SMS in the title means. The game gear version is similar but the master system version is superior in my opinion.
How is it superior? The only advantages of the SMS version are the bigger screen size and a more balanced first boss (and I think there's no way to despawn the platform in GMZ3). The Game Gear version is better in every other way.
Savalguga's Stuff even just the screen size makes it a better game. Game gear version is horrible as a casual, you just can't see what's coming well enough.
You said this game triggered something, but your voice was too quiet (and strangely deep!) to make it out. What does this game trigger in you, Werster?
