My S3K bias may still be showing, but this is still one of my favorite final boss themes of all time. This was fantastic; the CPS2 overdrive guitar was absolutely perfect for this, and the bass was delicious :P I think you know already there's a spot in the favorites playlist for this :P

Like your remix/cover of Sonic 3's Special Stage in the CPS2 style, this remix/cover fuses well with the style as well. As someone that owns a copy of the Japan-exclusive, Sega Saturn port of X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, I agree with Edward Gaines in envisioning one of the X-Men or Street Fighters fighting Apocalypse to this theme. Great job, and keep up the good work!

Imagine fighting the Death Egg Robot fighting game style. This is how I picture it. I’d do Cless and Chester battling the Metal/Mecha Sonics as well as the Death Egg Robot in MUGEN. I can also imagine Satori Komeiji (and Koishi Komeiji) battling Ameno-Sagiri from Persona 4 tag team style but that’s a different story.

Cless Alvein and Chester Barklight facing the robot Sonic army (consists of Silver, Metal and Mecha Sonics) and the Death Egg Robot. Also, this track would be fitting for the final boss of a Capcom crossover (with Sega or Bandai Namco) fighter fan game. Having visions of Cless Alvein and Jin Kazama battling the Death Egg Robot Capcom tag style.
