Cause the guys in Sonic Team don't know the meaning of focus. Looking back it's all too apparent the trends they were chasing back then. The Tomogachi days were huge during SA2s development so they made a wonderful side mini game for SA1 and 2. Final Fantasy was making huge waves with cinematic storytelling so they made Sonic 06. Devil May Cry and God of War made a splash with 3D combat so they made Sonic Unleashed. They never refine any of their good ideas, instead opting for the quickest type of catering or whatever it was that interested them at the time. Unfortunately that's partly what has screwed over this franchise.
@@stormcutter59 wow you made it all make sense I agree with you. Looking back they definitely weren't trend setters. I do love sonic though I have Faith in the sonic team to make this new sonic frontiers game amazing hopefully it works out
@@AAV_99- I don't lol. But I envy your optimism. Unfortunately, my optimism has run out for almost 10 years now. Since Sonic Lost World came out I've been jaded by Sonic Team and Forces only cemented it. By some miracle Frontiers ends up bring good, I'll come back and shower you with praise. As for now, I'm not feeling very confident. Those cyberspace levels are as shallow looking as any Forces stage and that bothers me
I cannot accurately express how appreciative of whoever composed this music I am for bringing it into existence. Too much effort and emotion was put into this for it to not be heard by every single person in the world at least once in their lives. It's hard to hear this without feeling my eyes start to water up, and that's before even considering the feeling of nostalgia it gives me.
I sometimes go to the garden to listen to this song when I'm not happy or lonely. This song is ridiculously comforting. It might even sound good as a music box more than the Chao neutral theme.
It makes me shed at least a couple tears every time I hear it. How beautiful it is, and thinking about being a kid in the 00s. I’m 30 now, but boy did we have it good. Everything sucks now.
I used to head to the Chao Gardens after ragequitting another boss, this is such a nice theme. And don't worry, I didn't take my anger out on my Chao! I spoiled them all equally to make myself feel better.
I remember being like 6 and having this one Hero chao named 'Kitty Witty' (it was so cringe 😭) that I spent all my time paying attention to. I built her constantly, literally just farming drives from Prison Lane and giving them all to her. She was the only chao I had that could do the higher difficulties in Chao Races and Chao Karate. I legit cried when she 'died', I fucking loved that little thing

@kitsumeimei Hahahahaha that's terrible! Although I'd like to believe while they're in school, it's like a suspended animation where they're kept alive, but no longer aging. Then again it could just be their own personal hell 😭

Everytime I replay this game, there is nothing like entering the hero garden for the first time after you chao evolved - this is the reward for raising your chao on the side of good, a literal utopia.
I remember 2006 or so, youtube wasn’t real hot I feel like it was still new. But I saw playthroughs of the game and sometime they would lead into the Chao garden. I remember being sure in myself, that I would buy Sonic Adventure 2 in order to play chao garden (which at the time I didn’t even know the name of them lol) but I knew I wanted to know. And alas, I spent money to be able to raise my little cute creatures and it even came with a side adventure featuring sonic characters. Buy the game

Yeah so I had all my chao gardens maxed out on Xbox One but when I got the Series X there was an issue transferring data and my Sonic Adventure 2 entirely was at an older point way before the last time I saved it, so pretty much 75% of my chao didn't even exist anymore and the ones that did are barely babies I was pissed when this happened I never opened up SA2 again and I cant even do anything to recover the data because my old Xbox One broke a long time ago, this still sucks to this day.
