Me too, still playing this on Dreamcast emulator, not the same I know but I was stupid and traded my Dreamcast for a ps2 back in the old days and I grew up to regret it! Nothing like these good old games

Beyond texture compression screw-ups, all signs point towards things like transparencies just not converting over to Gamecube well, hence why SADX is so much worse-looking than SA1. The shadows were also simplified, and stages like Iron Gate were utterly _demolished_ by the downgrades in visuals, especially once the HD version simply tossed out lighting in that stage altogether. For such acclaimed games, Sega is absolutely and utterly lazy in porting them properly.
I haven’t seen this in 19/20 years and I still remember it stage-by-stage, sequence-by-sequence. Now that’s what you call a memorable game! Awesome! Thanks for uploading
So if we do get a SA3 and we will thanks to frontiers doing so well I would like the hub era, but they really gotta fix the stage levels to be like SA2s cuz god it was hot trash in Frontiers as much as I loved the mini open worlds, however I want SA 3 to have a story as good as the first 2 this one has the more epic story in my opinion. I would also like them to bring the original writers who worked on SA2 with the guy who did frontiers for Sonic Adventure 3.

@@MrNoobNub I mean it’s a cartoon character running at breakneck speeds that’s all I see him as that’s all he is to me and that’s why I like the little guy. Sonic is great. I like playing the games not consuming lore. I’ve not much interest in that. I’ll read a real book.
@@reginadeleon1911 Actually no. The Dreamcast version is the OG and has a lot of better stuff than the GC version. The shadows and lighting are better, the dialogue doesn’t overlap as much, neither does the music. And also, the intro is better. Basically, the OG version is the best and always will be.
Fun fact: if you look at Sonics shoes in the intro he still has his normal shoes and not the new ones but when he jumps off the helicopter his shoes change

Interesting how they say in the tag line, save the world...or conquer it. The Hero Story isn't the real ending of the game storyline. As it turned out, the Dark Story didn't end with them conquering the world which is hinted as you see DANGER on the screen before it shows the credits. As it's revealed in the Last Story, that last Chaos Emerald added to the Eclipse Cannon initiated a program from Professor Gerald Robotnik that put the ARK on a collision course with Earth and they all had to work together to stop this impending doom.
In 2:57 , look closer to one of the ads. There's one about the PS2! It says playing SA2 is habit forming. At the bottom it says Anti XXXX XX2 ASSOSIATION, With the X's meaning Sony PS2
I have awaited since I was 14 for this game to reach my view lol.. now I have it i find myself in such a relief to know what does happen in the story lol

Yo compre la consola sega dreamcast especialmente para jugar Soul Calibur compre algunos juegos y el de sonic tambien pase junto a mis sobrino varias horas y dias jugando sonic no aburria y me gusta porque pura velocidad. Una vez en una mision en el agua ya habiamos neutralizado a los enemigos pero faltaba hacer algo y no sabiamos que teniamos que hacer. Recuerdo que hiba pasando una tortuga y mi sobrino que trepa sonic a la tortuga y la tortuga nos llevo a otro mundo hahahaha
I've never even knew that game was on the dream cast I grew up with the GameCube version but non the less I think it's the best sonic game of all time in my opinion I loved the game on GC even if sometimes it was clunky, I wish they would remaster it or something for nintendo switch
Goh I'm so ashamed to say I jever played SA2 I only played SA1 on Dreamcast which was absolutely CLASSIC btw and still one of my all time top games but I have only just seen bith Sonic games are available on ps3... so a know what am doing tomorrow. 😁😁😁

Big was added as an Easter egg hidden somewhere in almost every level. For some reason his cameos were completely removed from all later versions of the game.
