It takes four stages, but Shadow finally gets to see some time in the action stages in Radical Highway! Now... as cliche'd as Shadow's character is... he still has levels that are similar in nature to Sonic's, except... usually weirder. Radical Highway's a perfect example of this.
So anyways... in this stage from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle comes the strangest highway you'll ever see! Complete with a cork-screw at the end! What is this? A highway or a roller coaster?
This video took me ages to do with my old software, it just absolutely refused to record at a decent framerate. About 20 attempts later, I finally get this... I threw it on speed mode just for kicks. =P

this may sound dorky, but watching these videos made my day today, cuz I'm 16 now, and I grew up on SA 1 and SA 2, and it's amazing to watch chao races and city escape and all the other places now. Anyone else grow up with this game around?

To this day, I still believe that the way Shadow runs in this game looks so much cooler than any other game he's appeared in. Including generations!

I just hate it when people spin... I spin too to get speed but then I press b again to get out of it to watch his badass run lol, plus you don't bounce everywhere, that's another thing, he runs so badass in this, but in other games it's like he's jogging but going fast? in this his legs are going turbo.

*giggles softly* Yeah... I pretty well have the stages memorized by now as I enjoy this game a lot and have played every stage a lot. This stage was also stubborn and my recording software kept butchering my recordings so this is about the 7th run I did to get a nice recording. Radical Highway's my favourite Shadow stage, so I didn't mind too much.

If you press A at the same time as you first land on the bar you'll jump right away, but the timing is pretty tight, so I usually don't bother and swing around a couple times instead.

Once you get to the Suspension Bridge supports, there should be two ramps right after a double loop. Stop at the first one, and jump to the right, right onto the cable. You will slide into a spring, and this will shoot you back up. Press forward on the control stick while in the air to land on the tower. This is where you will find the Ancient Ruin. Hope this helps.

That is the weirdest highway ever. I mean there are death pits, loopings and even rockets to hang on and fly to another part of the highway.

@BxBright If you see the pics you will see 3DS' modern isn't fully 3D, it's 2.5D with some camera changes and different gameplay, but it has nothing to do with the 3D gameplay we know. Watch Green or Mushroom Hill and you'll see what I mean.

I would love to have a highway like that. Course, most cars wouldn't be able to generate enough speed to stay on in loops or high hills.

The developers of the game were influenced by their (USA office) location in the Bay Area. Routes 101 and 280 (two levels) as well as City Escape and Street Mission designs follow up the resemblance of the city.

Wertyxl I know this comment is old but I played that same demo. Walmart had the SA2B demo and you could play the intro stage for every character. I was hella young.

This Action Stage proves why it's called Radical Highway. With loops and grinds, jumps and tons of stunts to pull off, it fits it's gameplay. It's safe to say that this just ain't ANY highway, though... Probably, it has mysteries, such as it being too "entertain-inducing" to make it's actual point. Should Radical Highway REALLY come to this? Besides, the marines are spending lots of time there.

It's simple.you get the GameCube Version(Sonic Adventure 2 Battle) and play it on Wii.You must have a GameCube controller,too

It's all a matter of opinion. I prefer the Classic remix over the original while the Modern remix is a love/hate song and i like it. Classic > Original > Generations Credits > Modern IMO.
