I love how Knuckles skydeck is literally the reason the egg carrier goes down

for 1998, this game is amazing. In my opinion has aged well

Knuckles needs his own game, and needs to reclaim his 'wise guardian' persona. He is just as formidable as Sonic, and gameplay mechanics should emphasize his strength and power, allow him to lift and throw massive objects, and make his fighting ability more complex. Include some fast-paced action stages along with treasure-hunting stages - greatly expand the depth, variety and length of these exploratory stages, and add fiendishly challenging puzzles into the mix. Knuckles may not be as adaptable, fluid or spontaneous as Sonic, but he is wiser. His experience as caretaker and protector of a giant floating island full of unfathomable mystery has given him a knack for trap setting, and foiling. Also, his real name is something like "Nuxl" or "K'nuxl", which sounds similar to the nickname "Knuckles" (that Sonic probably gave him) but also similar to Aztec language, which his ancient culture was partially based on. However I wouldn't have made his ancient culture as being entirely Echidna, rather Echidnas were one of many species, including humans, that made up this (or these) civilization(s).

I kinda wished that Sonic and Tails would've reacted to Knuckles tilting the Egg Carrier in their levels. It would've added some continuity.

My favorite Sonic game. Knuckles' story is such a unique return since the events of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I think Knuckles' campaign is actually long. Sure, there aren't many stages, but the exploratory gameplay keeps the length long.

The scene after Knuckles beats Chaos 6 was a nice nod to the Genesis era in which he appears with the Emeralds you don't collect in the "bad" endings.

I completed this story the other day in like...40 minutes at most because the placement of the Emerald shards were so close to each other, meaning I spent less than a minute in certain action stages.

I hope the first trailer for the sequel to the Sonic movie has an intro similar to the beginning ( 1:00 ) and when his monologue is finished it’ll cut to the hook of his theme (the SA2 version)

I didnt get the chance to play this game growing up but finally played it when i was about 19 a couple years ago and I gotta say....Im having a great time w this game. And while i do aknowledge that the game has its flaws and everything, i actually do find it visually appealing. The gameplay, world, characters, story and overall charm of the game just grabs me. Figured id type my genuine thoughts out on this game while im playing through this story, as someone who didnt get the chance to experience the Sonic Adventure series until i got older.

Replaying this game and on knuckles story right now, brings back so many childhood memories.

The nostalgia and to believe it’s been 7 years since I played this.

I remember playing this a decade ago, somehow 4 year old me beat it after maybe 50 hours of raw gameplay

Knuckles' model is the only one I like more then the original in the DX port. This one looks terrible!

Nice, I play SADX on my PC, and I use mods to make it like the Dreamcast version. Knuckles is my favorite.

That's because Adventure 2 botched the radar system where it can only detect one Emerald piece at a time.

Why are people saying that this is the best voice for Knuckles? He literally sounds like a normal guy, and like he just got rejected to voice a Resident Evil character, and then went to voice a Sonic character instead.
